Given the trend of the GTA games, there will most likely be a public radio station if and when GTA V comes out.

 

As for the radio stations, they should have a radio station for the main genres, like most big cities do: country, 70s rock, 80s rock, modern rock, rap, classical, et cetera. That way, you cater to the taste of most people.

One thing is for sure, and that is Lazlow will be on the radio for the next GTA. Also, I won't be surprised to hear Phil Collins again. He seems to be a friend of R*. However, no more of that Kanye West sh*t. I'm so sick of Flashing Lights, Love Lockdown, and that other song with Kanye West in TBOGT.

yeah definately keep lazlow in it, he was funny, entertaining and groovy. There should be 14 radio stations. one of them should be some country music with the funny djs in it from gta sa and classic 80's and 70's music. Also a tiny bit of music from 2000 onwards would be fab too. we've never had them yet.

It all depends on the setting. Most stations in GTA IV were copied from popular New York Radio Stations so I'd expect the next GTA to follow the same trend.

A PROPER hard-rock/metal station, not that LCHC sh*t.

With bands like Disturbed, Metallica, Five Finger death punch - that kind of music.

A modern rock station too (perhaps the same as the above) with artists like Muse, Green Day, but none of that Fall-out-boy style music.

 

I'd like to see a kind of "make your own station" where you can put your own music onto your consoles HDD, the game would read that and put adverts and a generic DJ in it.

I'd love for GTA V to have an mp3 player on your phone that'd be cool.

 

Lazlow should defo be a proper DJ again, like in V rock.

 

The talk shows need to be written slightly better too - IV's were, imo, not as good as those from III and VC. "Killer Bees!"

I'd like the radio to update too - to expand as you play the game and for the stations to have twice as many songs on..

 

That said, on my 2nd playthrough i'd still end up having Disturbed playing on my laptop

keep lazlow for sure and maybe bring in big wayne and reed, that would be funny, i know reed was in gta 3 and wayne was in sa so they can definitely do that. Besides that, anything that suits the theme of the game, like if it was set in vc then 80's music

1 a good dance station =tech house, minimal, techno, breakbeat, electro ...etc i want One Night In NYC (the horrorists), Erotic discourse (paul woolford), rollin n scratchin and rock n roll (daft punk), Green Velvet, Tiga, some of the techier erol alkan.... etc

 

2 a 50s/60s surf/instrumental/joe meek station = night of the vampires the moontrekker, dick dale, comanche, the venturas, the shadows..........etc

 

3 a live fast die young station = Nirvana, the doors, the sex pistols, janis joplin, jimi hendrix, the who, early pink floyd, elliott smith, the rolling stones.....etc with a bill hicks and hunter s thompson impressionists doing the hosting

 

4 gypsie ,jazz, polka, klezmer, flamenco,oompha ..etc station lots of traditional stuff but also some Rain Dogs era tom waits/ marc ribot stuff..etc

 

5 good rap early eminem, dre, nwa, tribe called quest,snoop, wu tang, outcasts (ghetto music)......etc i dont want any 50 cent or kanye west or f*cking nelly or any more of the dicks whove helped bastardise black music in the last 10 15 years

 

6 a Motown station

 

7 60s/70s psychedelia and garage rock station, with loads of wierd stuff from the nuggets compilations etc

 

8 a classical station would be cool , driving round to some ridiculous Wagner would be mint

I'm not much of a rap fan (Can't stand some of the new sh*t to be honest), but late 80s/early 90s rap is alright.

 

I quite like some of the rap featured on Radio Los Santos. 50 Cent, and the like aint got nothing on some of Dre's, NWA's etc early work. IMO
