We don't know 100% on how playboy obtained them. I was reading up on Wiki, and ina cutscene, playboy basically reveals how, says Playboy killed him more or less and took his clothes. "A silent motherf*cker tried to f*ck with me, but I f*cked him and got hold of his prize possessions. Not the tough guy in Liberty City anymore, the silent bastard!". Silent = Claude, lol that really freakin sucks if u think about it, I loved claude, how in the hell did playboys sorry ass kill him? im glad i tossed a grenade at his ass and killed him. The quote is mentioned in Grand Theft Wiki's article on Claude (http://gta.wikia.com/Claude), but I believe it's faux. I can't find it in the transcript and I can't remember hearing it myself either. Characters from the III era are as far I know never carried over to IV era. There's a character similar to Lazlow from III era, in fact they share the same name and history.
