Doublepulse
Im not sure if anyone has discussed this before, and I'm not sure if its worth the discussion.. but here I go./ We all know DYOM doesn't have the ability to have voices in the cutscene since, we would not know who would do the voices.. but if someone were to edit there DYOM file with something like Notepad++, would it be possible? Like have your friends record there voices or record your own and place it somewhere in the auido files of the mission ( i know it sounds stupid, but i am curious)? You would also think the cutscene audio for the regular GTA SA is located some where.. what if someone would break it up and use different words in the mission? Also, the developers are supposely wanting to develop GTA IV: DYOM, and even though it will be in a beginning stage, would they attempt to add voices some way? So yea, people can say dream on.. or its not possible, but leave your comments, it will be interesting to see what other people have to say about this. Spyro955
I really don't think that you'd be able to make ANYTHING from the original cutscene voices, and if you did, it would be very hard, and sound very odd, with the combination of different words pronounced differently. I don't think that you would be able to make anything from DYOM either, as it's not open sourced, and you'd really need to ask the makers for the permission. And what follows it, you would need to make another script for that, which would have to cover your files and cover with the other parts of DYOM, which is near impossibility, but as I suppose would have to be done by the makers themselves. And GTA IV: DYOM will actually start with the functions that DYOM: SA v1 had or so, they firstly want to slowly cover it with SA functions, then improve. So you have a long time you'll need to wait. I think that's enough from me.
