One of the most underrated artists in the world, Suge really f*cked up with not promoting her enough, and Death Row even pushed her album to '97 so that Chronic & Doggystyle could make a lot of money, but of course, before '97 the whole east-west thing was big and Lil' Kim took the position where Rage could've been. Dude i completely agree with you on Rage but Suge Knight messed up with alot of his artists out of the female artists hes had on his label he definitely missed out with Rage and an artist called VK she was signed around 99-01 era she was similar to Rage. Seriously though how did we go from female MC's like Lauryn Hill, Rage and MC Lyte to lyrically garbage hoes with fake asses like Nicki Minaj? But, to me, for the most part, girls don't really seem to fit in the whole hip-hop/rap scene, it just seems wrong to me, I mean female rappers just seem weird to me. This. ^ Lauryn Hill has some skills as well as an emcee outside of her singing career. Ladybug Mecca from Digable Planets. Rah Digga from Flipmode Squad even if she tries a little too hard to sound like a dude. But Bahamadia's definitely my #1. Effortless brilliant flow from this chick. Then again everything in Young Money's tracks sounds f*cking retarded they literally throw in random words "Grocery Bag" "Soccer Team" "I love your sushi rolls hotter than wasabi". f*ckin' oath that sh*t is lame, I know you don't exactly expect a Lewis Carroll novel when it comes to modern rap lyrics, but these guys could try a little harder seriously. Although I'd love to smash her back doors in (with force). Probably with extra force just for her stupid f*cking lyrics. Least she'd have a witty anecdote to write about in one of her next raps.
