AlfaDog0000 Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Hi,i'm new here,but i've already a question.i've searched evrywhere for a solution for my problem but actually,i have findnothing. i'm gonna explain my problem. I've messed up with my GTA SA Sounds Files and now my game looks like the ripped version of the game that you can find online:It has no character and ped sounds/voices.Don't know how but at least,cutscene audio still working,and also gun sounds,explosion,vehicle sounds... But now,i have to get a SFX backup or something like that.I've searched for that,but i haven't find one. I've heard that is possible to extract the sounds from the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas and alsothat they work on the PC game. Luckly (or how it must be written)(i'm italian)i have PS2 version of GTA SA Unluckly (or how it must be written)my PC game of GTA SA is like lost (I have leaved my cd game in my origin country,philllipines)so i cannot re-install it My final Question is:How can i extract these sounds from PS2 version and convert them to my PC version? You may also put a space after each punctuation mark/ Would you care to explain how you re-install a PS2 game, lil weasal?- Try San Andreas Radio program, it works for the PS2 game, and is legal as long as you only use the files for personal use and NOT distribute them, you are good. But, as far as I know PS2 game files are "read only" when the PS2 disc is inserted into a PC disc drive, and cannot be deleted, so you should have all the files, if that is what you're asking.? Ah,one ore thing.i told you that I CANNOT RE-INSTALL the game 'caue I LEFT MY CD GAME in another country.... Take a hint that the posting you're looking for is 'edited' out. and you still need to put a space after the periods. Buy the game... Amazon.com had them for 10$US for the disc. The only audio still workin' are -RADIO -CUTSCENE -Gun sounds -Explosion -ambiental effects -vehicle sounds. Anywhere,want my cover story? I was tryng to give to my peds the voices of GTA Vice City,files can be find evrywhere. But i don't know how,i do something wrong (or many things)and now my f****** peds only move their face/mouth. Carl Voice still workin. Just in some situation he doen't speak. For all,he speak (and also too much) i give you a situation of my GTA ped (Drug Dealer):----MUTE,Just moving the mouth---- (Carl):f*ck You And Die! now....can you tell me if is normal for a man to see a pedestrian and tell him,without reason "f*ck You and die"? radioman Posted August 17, 2010 Share Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) The only way you can modify game files legally, is with the PC version, as modifying the PS2(and X-Box) version is illegal... The only legal type of "modding" on the PS2 version, is to do a "modified save", as Orion did with the PS2 Chain Game save, as far as I know? I have that save file on my PS2 memory card. lil weasal has said how to get the PC version for modding cheap in his last post... If you decide to get a PC copy for modding, go Here for the modding forums, for help with modding Audio files...Just a heads up... If you are just looking to extract the sounds, San Andreas Radio does that great(the Radio files).
