Can't open any files with spark iv

Whenever i try to open any files in the folder pc/textures folder of gta iv with sparkiv nothing shows up and if i try to type in the name of the file in the search box, i can open the .wtd and .rpf files in the pc/models/cdimages folder fine.

 

For example if i try to open hud.wtd located in the pc/textures folder using spark iv it just says this folder is empty or a message will come up saying please select a type for the file you are trying open but it wont let me choose .wtd files

 

any help would be appreciated

1st. u got the original game without any cracks?

2nd. is ur game updated?

3rd. is ur sparksiv updated?

4th. did u download the correct sparkiv( the one for IV and not for EFLC)?

5th. where did u place all the sparksiv files?

well the answer to all your questions is yes but i think i fixed it, the problem was i was clicking on open instead of browse
