domy94 Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 I personally think that this is just a placeholder like amazon uses December 31st; I'd also rather guess the release to somewhere around Christmas 2011. If 4th quarter of 2012, like the website says, was true, they would need more time from IV to V than from SA to IV which would be quite curious, I think. And it says on the page that Rockstar hasn't officially announced the game yet and hasn't given any details about the location and characters etc. So they are really are just guessing. And the screenshots and videos on the page are about what GTA V could look like, what the location could be, and things they should improve upon using GTA IV as a reference. They just made a page for GTA V with guesses and discussions about what it could be, so they can adjust it when Rockstar does give out official information about it, just like this forum. As for the German site, the news could be fake. Theres no way it will take that long if the intend it to be on the current gen consoles (which they 99% will). Its never going to be a complete code re-write when they already have a ready made model from IV. We all know they are probably working on it. Nobody will tell you when it's actually due. End of discussion.
