There wasn't anything remarkable in there. I wouldn't say any of it was bad or any of it sucked, it just didn't entertain me. Most of it was either about how many girls the singer had slept with or that special girl who's held up to unreasonable standards, the one that appears in a hell of a lot of RnB songs. I'm just saying there wasn't anything new or different. The R Kelly song is OK, it seems to have a bit of a "classic" status over here. The MJ song was nothing special, but perhaps 'cos I missed the boat on his fame and his music never really made an impression one me. Just saying, to me, there's nothing special about any of these songs but they're far from awful. Also: at least i don't have to blow my f*cking brains out like Kurt Cobain when i listen to them. Classy. EDIT: one more thing, if you like her so much, why don't you make a topic about her instead of bitching here? There wouldn't be enough activity to warrant it. As you can imagine there isn't much of her fan base in the GTA community. And I'm trying to keep the "Bitching" at a minimum: I simply stated my opinion, said why i thought you guys were being unreasonable and tried not to insult anyone. There is not one artist who everyone unanimously consider bad. Every artist has their own style but honestly you can't consider any the worst of all time, really only consider them to be on the list of people "you" don't like. For example, I like a couple of Lil Wayne's songs. His radio stuff is no good, but his mixtapes were genius. You're never gonna hear a song like "I feel like dying" on the radio. The original poster, 'BlackNight' seems like the main aspect you aren't realising about this whole discussion, probably because during the course of reading this your 'rebeliion ADD' kicked in and made you shuffle out every single good opinion, was that people (Humans) have something known as opinions brother. Now, that means we don't all have the same taste as you, which is ironic, because you aim to be different and cool, yet you already eliminated possibilities of being the latter, by doing way too much of the former. I'm sorry, let me talk simpler in case you didn't understand. You don't have say in everyone's life, you don't decide what is good for everyone, that is just your opinion. The sooner you realise that, the sooner we can all communicate without anger and caps lock on. Robinski, you are making wonderful points, but you don't realise that this guy, is inadvertently being a 'troll' and he will never agree with you, because you oppose his views, and he is completely ignorant by the looks of his post. Lady Gaga, is a damn good singer. I take a liking to all music, and her voice is so well captured in her videos. Apart from the very unorthodox outfits and lyrics (That sort of fits in with opinions) I actually don't mind listening to her at all. As for the rest of your list 'BlackNight' I'd say it's all your opinion, and at some point you need to realise that the way you are posting on these forums is making you seems like a.... well an ignorant pompous ass. Now, making fun of me is only going to reinforce that stereotype on you, so I suggest once more, that you evaluate your words of response wisely, and figure out that 'R&B' is not the only 'good' type of music by any standard, even by your own opinion. I think I summed up everything well enough. Now to credit whom I dislike in music, I'd have to say anything later than 2002 that didn't compose it's own lyrics and music would have to be 'Unoriginal' and in my 'dislike' bin. I hear a lot of pop music, some is catchy but Gaga is a no no for me. I actually found some of Britney's songs catchy, probably because she's got a good producer.
