GTA IV Roleplay Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 (edited) GRAND THEFT AUTO V: BURNLEY (Logo & Pictures coming soon) INTRODUCTION The story begins on New years eve for 2005, in the rags-to-riches town of Burnley, located in the North-West of England. Drunken groups stagger down the streets, in the roughest area of the town; "Duke Bar", where the story continues to follow a popular figure in the town's gang culture; Tom "Acky" Atkinson. Acky, only aged 15 shows his journey with the notorious street-gang "Duke Bar Massive". Over the past years, him and his friends have grown up into the life riddled with drugs, sex and violence, and found their neighbourhood under numerous threats by both enemy gangs and corrupt police forces. Acky and the boys wonder if the future ahead will be for better, or for worse, but they know their married to the life, and they're not walking out on the hood now, with the state it's in. PROTAGONIST Name: Tom Atkinson Nickname: Acky Date of birth: 10/07/1990 Place of birth: Burnley General Hospital Appearance: Brown hair ; Brown eyes ; Tanned skin. Acky is normally seen with his noticable v-cut, spikey hair. He usually wears dark articulated jeans, with black & blue hi-tops on. He usually wears v-necks or checkered shirts. At various times, he'll be seen in black trainers, with joggers or baggy tracksuit pants, in branded t-shirts and a black coat or hoody. Acky is never known to wear a hat, as he mocks the thought of hiding his face, as he holds his pride & normally shows his face to the enemy as a symbol that he's not afraid. Information: Acky decided to go into the gang, due to the recent death of his cousin, Mackie. They were close, as the whole family was, and Acky didn't hesitate to earn his name in the culture. He switched schools, in the start of his last years, due to being the cause of violence making an outbreak at his school. Acky was the only one in his gang that went to the school, where close rivals, Stoneybronx were beng educated. Acky was seen by teachers as the cause, whereas Acky never boiled his head at school. He wanted to get the grades he needed. The headteacher excluded him for "racial abuse" whereas his friends at school called it self-defence. He put one of the fella's in hospital, with a strong concussion to his head, and broke another's ankle. The local police got involved, but didn't find the attacks benefitial for a punishment, as witnesses said it was self-defence. From then on, Acky re-developed his schooling at "Townside College". Here Acky began meeting more people, who became friends, then later came a girl... Jenni. Acky had met Jenni long before, but at the time, didn't talk much. Acky and Jenni grew closer, and within a month were together. Jenni didn't like the thought of Acky's life, but she could live with it. Anyway, enough of the protagonist, we'll talk about the game. 5 years later... Yeah, It would be like a Columbine type thing even though I think those two shooters were older but still you get what I'm trying to say to you. I should have given more of the story, this is just the introduction, then just imagine a "5 years later" appearing on your screen? How does 20 years-old sound? This is just to set the scene.
