I have a few mixed responces from people saying that they are having issues from the 2 range rovers but i cant see the issue with it at all because my beta testers say there fine.. So anyway please feel free to comment on this topic and let me know what you think of the mods ive done as for permission of the authers i have permission to edit them from the authers... all models are from gtainside.com... Costar Posted August 15, 2010 Share Posted August 15, 2010 Great you have a topic showcasing your mods now IMO the authors names should be mentioned in your Readme/Credits .. I havent tried any of the other vehs yet! Now we just have to figure why the front suspension shoots out the hood of the Rover in both EFLC & GTAIV . You can see here how even the rear suspension parts look broken I have original handling/veh.ide for the polpatriot which is what the Rover replaces and your handling/veh.ide files in the archive also have original stock values so no change there. I remember Rob saying a Hummer had the same type of problem .. seems I remember that too now. I would question whether these testers are testing the same Rover that is in the archive or are being honest which I dunno why they'd lie but I & others certainly are not either. Costar Posted August 15, 2010 Share Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) Yea well honestly I wouldnt think they would lie just to get your mod because then they have these ugly suspension problems, no one wants to have to play w/ that and risk it causing graphix issues. Reworking it would be good since actually the lightbar and other police lights look good on there. Assuming the indicators and other lights are original to the author, there is something left to be said for their quality, eventho they do function. Assuming you dont have the game(s) and so cant test, then maybe having one of your testers make a vid of the vehicle(s) IN MOTION (I've seen some vids just show the vehicle sit still and only open doors/hood etc) b4 you decide to release the vehicle, would help then! I.E. on the Met car put an Orange Circle and "01" then 3 random letters after the lightbar. B) On the Dog van put an orange triangle and 01 and 3 random letters.
