Deactivated_20171203
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World review. By T-Unit Notice:This is my first review so don't be too harsh with the criticism. Enjoy INTRODUCTION Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is one of the newest movies to hit the box office. It was released on 12th August 2010 (Australia) and I'm sure as you read, people are on the edge of their seats enjoying this epic movie. Starring Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers (Scott's love interest) and Jason Schwartzman as the main antagonist. SYNOPSIS Scott Pilgrim is a 23 year old bass guitarist who is in between jobs and dating a high schooler. Everything is going good for Scott until during a party, he meets a girl called 'Ramona Flowers' and from the night he saw her, everything changed. Scott ends up dating the young goth but if only it were that simple, Scott finds out that to get to her heart, he has to defeat her 'seven evil exes' MY OPINIONS Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is the perfect mix of comedy, gaming, romance and fighting. The fight scenes get your heart going because of their unpredictability and the masterful special effects that go with it. It's also a bit funny at times, with a subplot involving the homosexuality of Scott's roommate and of course, the script in general. Because of Scott being the bass player for an indie band, the movie soundtrack is made up of alternative rock composed by the one and only Nigel Godrich. For those who are obsessed with movie scores, it was released on August 10. And an official soundtrack will be released next month. One of the main elements in this movie is gaming. Especially the fight scenes. They remind me of old school fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken. The way the editors do the gaming part is just creative. I never seen anything like it in my entire life. Scott's indie rock band is even named after the bob-omb (Mario series). The special effects, the quotes, the plot, the actors. There are millions of things I can say about this movie but I'm going to narrow it all down to: An epic movie that should be watched by gamers and comedy fans everywhere. Starring: Michael Cena Written By: Edgar Wright Producer:Edgar Wright Directors:Edgar Wright MPAA: Rated PG-13 for stylized violence, sexual content, language and drug references. E.A.B.
I always found the premise pretty, well....hmm.... No bitch is ever worth fighting guys over. I mean, seven guys? sh*t, she better be a master chef, cleaner, lover, etc. I mean, I have to fight 7 guys for you? sh*t, how about YOU fight 7 women over ME. It also makes her sound somewhat slutty As for the movie itself, I simply don't like that Michael Cera seems to play the same character in all these movies. Otherwise, this movie is faaaaaar too 'controversial' for me to have an accurate opinion of
