Hello all, don't know if this is the best place to ask, and it's been awhile since I've been here. But any help is appreciated

 

I have a very long distance relationship and waiting to finish school (my girlfriend lives in Denmark), so it's not very often we get to see eachother. But when we do, you can be damn sure we're going to have sex. Alot. However, my previous visit (which I came back from very recently) seemed to present me with a problem. I couldn't get it fully erect. It was still erect enough to have sex, but still not fully enough. Not close. It kind of worried me a little bit, but I figured it was a one-off and said "eh, whatever." However, now that I've gotten back from my trip 4 days ago, my penis has not been 100% erect since I showered together with my girlfriend, which itself was about 1 week ago. Now that I'm back home I've tried thinking about her, watching porn, whatever. I just can't seem to get the bastard up again. I don't get it.

 

...so, do I have a problem? By the way, I'm only 18. I eat right, exercise... so surely I can't have that much of a problem down there. Right? ..

No I wouldn't say it's weird considering it, millions of men around the world use Viagra on a daily basis, though it is less common to have ED (erectile disfunction) at a younger age, though it is not unheard of. So no you should not feel weird about it and if you need to resort to Viagra it is completely normal and no one needs to know of it if you uncomfortable with it.

Anyway, unfortunately it's no where near as simple as that. I've done a quick run-through a "surgical sieve" with different possible problems for each cause. There can be dozens of causes including inflamation to the sacral region (S1, S2 from top of my mind) from a simple fall or infection, to it being drug induced.

 

As for aetiology, Black Project is right in that it is likely to do with the vascular mechanism, in this case keeping the blood from exiting the veins of the penis. Chances are it's cause by some drug (including nicotine) or just hypo/hypertension.

 

Since you are actually getting an erection and with your age, I wont worry too much about neuropathy or psychological causes.

 

Either way, I highly suggest you go see a proper doctor about it, as embarrasing as it may be, they are the ones who can really help you out.

I secretly figured to myself that, surely, somehow, there must be someone on here who has shared my problem. But, this place has so far been more mature than I remember it being. Thank you...

No and no, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to get a HBP test next time I'm at the doctor.

 

I was able to get it up last night, however, it still took a lot more effort than it should have been. Starting to conclude now, that now until Tuesday I won't try to erect it again, and start exercising more like I used to. I have a lot of Rød grød med fløde, my 2nd Danish lover, in my stomach to work off.

 

If I still feel it's necessary, I'll make an appointment with my doctor on Tuesday and see what can happen from there. I'll most likely update this thread then.
