A couple of years ago my friend created a mod GRAND THEFT AUTO: TRUE STORIES.

Unfortunately mod found in only a few people. So I decided to upload it on the Internet at the request of friends. It is too big (850 megs) to upload it to gtagarage. So here it is.

 

 

GRAND THEFT AUTO: TRUE STORIES - the global modification for GTA: Vice City. Changes were those aspects of the game as: Graphics (enhanced effects, weather, water, etc.) and map (a completely new city with its own bulidings, districts and islands), Transport (number of unique vehicles) as well as weapons, characters, etc. . The city has worked up to the last detail: By walking around the streets on foot, drive cars, and even hover in the sky, an airship, a stunning autumnal atmosphere makes fashion a truly unforgettable. It should also be noted that the author worked on the mod alone for a year and it certainly gives fashion integrity (rather than in the modes that make some people)

-are there paths for the city,

-is there any mission script(not only missions, but savehouses and all that stuff)

Is this mod at it's final stage or will there be more updates? I would kinda like to see bigger screens and stuff, maybe with car paths or player.

If you guys will decide to work on the mod again, I can surely join.

1 Yes (Peds , Cars , Parked Cars etc)

2 No storyline - but safehouses , pay n spray , resturants etc.)

L!mon, I played today in this mod with second patch and I want to offer 3 things:

Firstly, you should create Industrial City is more larger.

Secondly, replace Claude on other character.

Thirdly, for this mod you should create any missions.

It's nice, but sorta off putting to play due to 2 things, 1 that I use space bar as break, and for some reason it slow mo's the game, and secondly it's all in russian, and therefore makes no sense. Other than that sterling job

Well, my most favorite mods are TCs as far as I am considered. I really liked the City of Lost Heaven, and now this is even better! Great work, gonna test it asap

As for the storyline... My suggestion is making an underground racer for the main character. Just a hint Work a bit ona a timecyc to make it look more UG stile..

1) Listen L!mon. When I'm playing in True Stories, there yellow goo on my monitor but when I include the camera, the picture on the screen becomes pure, without the yellow smeared muck. What I need to make, that the drawing became, how at the included camera? More shortly I want that the drawing was as on screens.

2) Are you knowing about GTA Ghost City mod for Vice City ? That mod same as your True Stories. Head of that mod is [email protected], http://gta3d.my1.ru/news/2008-03-18-30 - this is link on site of Ghost City mod with one picture, and [email protected]'s ICQ 374534675. I suggest you to contact him that he helped you or to suggest him that to ask all that he has made for Ghost City.

Hey we don't need another LCN, I'd like something different. Racing would be okay, but that would need a lot of map remaking, good scripting skills and car modelers.

Firstly, I want to write other plot for this mod. And why are you wanting plot only on racing theme ? There is need dark gangster story, because True Stories has a dark atmosphere, and I can write a good plot. If you want whatever story for example, I'll begin to write now.

Secondly, L!mon, if you'll make racer story, you'll destroy all atmosphere of the mod. Please, don't rebuild Industrial City, because this City is very and still once very great, but I still suggesting to you to make city is bigger.
