Hi all

 

I walk into the building where dwayne is but then when i stand in front of the door nothing happens because there is supposed to be a yello marker and there isn't. I already started a new game and it is still the same.

 

Please help me out. It is urgent.

There is no advantage to killing Dwayne, anyway, and there is nothing but advantage to killing Playboy. Besides, Playboy turns on you after you kill Dwayne anyway, and you don't even get another encounter with him, either.....ie... total loss and waste of time, if you ask me.

To add to this: by killing Playboy X, you get a new safe house(Playboy's place, Dwayne as a friend-which will lead to you getting the ability to call for backup when needed, the GTA III outfit, and a place to store 2 more cars/vehicles via the new safe house.) and by killing Dwayne, you get nothing-as Payboy refuses to see you again and thus you lose the safe house, the oufit, and Dwayne's goons helping you when you need them. Just a heads up.

 

So, since the benefits are better for killing X, why did you decide to kill Dwayne? Just curious.

Nah, you do get $250 000.

The first time through I killed Dwayne because he almost seemed to be asking for it.

Also, I think that even if you kill dwayne, you can still use the parking space outside the PBX house.

OK, here's some real advice and totally not an insult at-all:

kill X. It's your choice but think of all that cool stuff you get if you kill PBX. And just forget about that money. It's pretty useless in gta IV.

You can't kill PBX untill you've done all his missions - he gives you "the holland play" so technically thats his final mission

To add to this, GTA III is the ONLY game that had this glitch/problem of "accidently sealing/locking" missions-they fixed this problem with VC and later releases, so this is not a problem anymore. Just like the characters it gives you a choice to Kill them or let them live-those are the random characters that are not required for 100% completion, it is just extra missions to add to the game if you let them live vs. killing them, for example. Just a heads up.
