Cvette
Hey folks, I got bored of GTA IV and uninstalled it a few months ago, but just recently discovered the video editor and have been playing it a lot now. Only thing is, I can't quite get the dang thing to run as well as it use to. Windows Vista x64 Intel Dual-Core @ 2.60GHz ATI HD2600xt 6GB of RAM Patch 1.04 I get an average of 20-30 FPS with these settings: 800x600 Texture: Lowest No Shadows View Distance 0 Detail Distance 0 Vehicle Density 10 The game looks horrible as one would imagine, still have the good 'ol unfixed ATI shadow bug too. I guess what I'm asking is, am I missing something? The game use to run quite well, should I try newer patches? Command line stuff? Last patch I used was 1.07 and it completely crippled the game down to 10-15fps. Cheers!
IVSA_Guy
Its right. Your GPU is old sh*t. Got bored by GTA4 and then installed it, discovered the Video Editor and reinstalled it again. Did you sleeped under a rock or something?? That video editor has been anounced before the release of IV PC.

I focused on the main mission and such before I even actually moved on to the smaller details of the game.
IVSA_Guy
Well, then its better to focus on the cities instead just focusing on the main missions. You missed alot of the game.

I wouldn't say "missed" as much as "haven't discovered yet" Plenty more to go.
