Does anyone know how to add a green screen in the video editor / or video capture so you can put your own backgrounds behind the characters?

There is no way, using Sony Vegas or other video editors you could carefully cut out Niko and place him in another clip.

That really defeats the object. Might as well us a picture,masking takes hours. I've used spawned objects (from simple trainer) scaffold 4b has a blue cover which can be used as a blue screen but still not very good chroma key effect and too small. The other attempt i had was to remove gravity on the player and capture clip whilst in mid air (using the sky as the 'green screen') again not very good.

 

anyone else have any ideas? There must be a way to change the textures or add a green only building like in SAN ANDREAS.

You can change the textures of a flat wall (Make sure it is completely flat).

 

You can also get into blue hell and record, but a few objects will still appear.
