Tornado Rex
Better yet. Instead of waiting to reinstall Windows why don't you go grab a Ubuntu Live CD and use that to change all your passwords. He'd still need to re-format his computer (I wouldn't trust it even if security software cleans it), but yeah, that works too. Oh yeah of course. I'm just saying in the mean time as a quick way to stop the sh*tstorm. Then he can at least go in and back up stuff if need be. ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~
nerner
Only thing I can think of now is that he has either a keylogger or a RAT on your computer. And it wouldn't suprise me if norton can't detect it. EDIT: Did you try what I said before and erase your signature? Malicious code can be inserted into it basically i have 3 virus programs on my com. avg, norton and kaspersky, i did full scan with all 3 of them. As has already been said, don't bother with more than one. They compete for resources and in the end neither of them end up working as well as they should and it could cause system instability. Pick the AV that you want to run with (not Norton) and update it fully. Then disable the others.

Avoid using that if possible
