Cvette
Heya folks, love the site, visit often and finally decided to register. Ever since I found SparkIV I've been hooked on modding sounds for GTA IV. I'm currently working on modifying an AK47 sound, but the sound in-game does not sound near as good as the .wav when played in WMP. I guess you could say it doesn't have that "crack" or "pop", it sounds almost muffled. Cheers to anyone that can help a clueless fella like me. Mornin' mate, Yup yup, I've been editing/saving these files in Audacity and then opening them up in IVaud, then finally importing them into the game using SparkIV. Mr. Violence
@Cvette I've been working on weapon sound mods too.Same happens to me but it actually sounds cool.I zhink if u want the ak47 to sound a bit more powerful, you need to change some (or all) of the shot's high and low sounds because all those shot sounds combined make a sound you hear in-game.Not 100% sure about this but i think that's how it works.(i suggest some echo or something instead of high sounds)

Mr. Violence
@Cvette Try replacing all ak shot sounds with the same sound.Maybe that'll work
