Can't save vehicles at safehouses

I'm playing the game through again and have encountered a very annoying problem. It was working fine for a time, but recently if I park a vehicle in the parking space at the Hove Beach safehouse and save the game, the vehicle is absent if I load the game again. No, it wasn't commandeered. No, I didn't park it improperly. It just isn't saved.

 

I loaded another savegame several missions back and the parking spaces work fine on that savegame, so it seems this problem is related to my savegame somehow. This is the second time this problem has occurred. It also happened on my last playthrough, at around the same stage of the storyline too (the first few missions for Vlad and Little Jacob). Last time I loaded an earlier savegame and proceeded, and the problem didn't recur, so I was hoping it was just a weird once-off, but now it's happened again and I'd like to know why, it's very irritating having to redo a bunch of progress to get such a basic gameplay feature to work properly.

 

I am using some mods:

 

Xliveless

A weapon stats mod of my own creation (changes WeaponInfo.xml)

Some new weapon models and textures (weapons.img)

Some new clothes (playerped.rpf)

A weapon sound mod (resident.rpf)

 

...and a few other minor texture replacements like colored radio station icons and new blood textures.

 

It's possible one of them is causing the issue, but I can't imagine how or why, and I've used all of them before (except for the weapon sound mod and new blood textures) without encountering this problem.

 

EDIT: A friend of mine I was speaking to earlier claims to have had this same issue in the past, and he wasn't using any mods at all at the time.
