"Your system is incompatible"

Hi guys,

 

I've recently upgraded my PC to the following spec:

 

Intel i7 930

Nvidia GTX 460

6GB XMS3 RAM

ASUS P6X58D-E

 

Whenever I try and install GTAIV on my PC it says "Your system is incompatible with Grand Theft Auto IV. Please follow the link below for more information."

 

1) How is my system incompatible?

2) There is no link to follow so how am I supposed to get more information?

 

I've updated all of the drivers so everything is up to date. I really can't see any reason what is stoping this from working. Is there a way around this? I'm also running Windows 7, 64bit which worked perfectly before I installed the new hardware.

 

By the way, I bought this digitally from Direct 2 Drive if that changes anything.

You need XP SP3 or Vista SP1.

Well I'm running Windows 7, and was before I upgraded my hardware and it worked then, so why not now all of a sudden?

one of my friends also had a problem running IV but it could install but not start he also got WIN 7 and he couldn't even start up EFLC but when i copied my EFLC files to his computer it runned perfectly

Put XP SP3 compatibility mode on the setup.exe. Also try Windows 2000 mode.

Why you not buy INTEL Desktop bord? This is your biggest mistake.

 

From where you buy GTA IV?

Is you buy GTA IV from internet?

 

I want advice you that to buy original disc of games in feature. It is safe and leggal. GTA IV for PC's original disc avalavle in aproximately all countries.

 

 

In INDIA rate of original GTA EFLC is RS 650/- only. Which is very less than internet.

 

 

If any one have problem about GTA ERROR MESSAGE then try this link to view a software about it.
