I always suspected that people today are loonier than they have ever been, I have have lived through the era when man-hating radical lesbian feminists and militant hard left socialists roamed the Earth. Now we have truthers, wild scares about diseases and other health issues, Eurabia and so on. I am even beginning to wonder about climate change. These people have no regard for hard data or facts.

 

I guess that today's loons don't really believe the crap they spout out, they are merely repeating churnalised stories, almost parrot fashion, on issues they clearly do not understand, for reasons that are beyond me . They do so because in their view, opinion precludes the use of critical faculties.

 

I am pleased to have found a film which encapsulates my feelings and perhaps gives a clue why paranoid loons exist.

There is only one solution to all these "problems" facing the World and it has done me just fine up until now.

 

Step 1: Assume this position.

Step 2: Wait for Climate Change™ to kill us, North Korea/Iran/Russia/USA to nuke us or some pissed of Muslim to come blow up your bus/plane/street/cat. Alternatively, the slow but inevitable release of death may be a comforting thought.

 

The World is mad, overpopulated and full of arrogant, know-it-all, right-wing, "f*ck everyone else" tossers. The best thing to do is f*ck anyone who crosses you and cherish those who are important to you.
