Quite a few questions

Ok so I have a few questions to ask. To let you guys know in advance I have tried to get these mods working correctly before I came for help. I have uninstalled the game 3-4 times.

 

The mod I have wanted to use is- Necropolis (If I spelled it correctly)

 

I placed the files in the correct areas and had the game version right before 1.0.4.0. I guess thats 1.0.3.0

 

1.All of the modifications were in the right area and so were the scripts. However, when I tried to start the game it kept telling me to take out my backup disk. I figured "Hm, does it know I'm using something modified and won't let me start?"

 

So then I updated to 1.0.4.0 w. no modifications and it worked fine. I actually like it cause it feels like my game runs better but the Alice script thing doesn't support my version. I also noticed there was no Xlive (Isn't that supposed to be in the gtaiv directory) so I couldn't replace something that wasn't there.

 

2.Lastly, say I have a winter snow mod installed. Can I still go into multiplayer and play w. my friends (Since we are using mods for cinematic purposes) or will it kick me out since i Have modified files?

 

Thanks in advance! I'm just really confused. THe only thing that held me back was the game....not starting until I updated.

i don't use alice or xliveless. i use asi loader and scripthook. you should use them. also the snow mod works for patch 7
