How I play ANY GTA game...

I'm sure many people do this, but I'm (of course) just super OCD about it, lol.

 

Here's what I always do first:

• NEVER, EVER do I skip a cutscene, even during the opening credits, I sit through them (or flip over to TV for a minute).
• I then search for all the hidden packages in that island so I can have the weapons available from the start.
• I then do all the side missions (there are a few exceptions) found throughout the map, whether it be the Firetruck mission, the Paramedic mission, the Taxi Driver mission, the Vigilante mission, the Trash Collection mission, or any other special or RC mission; the rampages, the stunt jumps, etc, all those get done next.
• I then go for the main missions of course as that's the only thing left to do. If two "main" mission locations open up, then I always finish the one that came first, like finishing Luigi's missions before moving on to Joey's (GTA III).
• I simply then repeat the above steps until the game is done, lol.

Other things though, like in San Andreas... I always got to the 'Hitman' level for ALL the weapons. You can find all but ONE of the weapon types in the Los Santos area. I then put a car in CJ's garage and max out the weapon stats by shooting at the tires until it's completed. I've even hopped the wall from the Los Santos Airport, grabbed a Dodo, flown to Las Venturas to grab the Spaz 12 Shotgun, flown back, and leveled that too!

 

Hmm, other stuff...

 

I never damage a mission car, ever, lol. As long as it can be avoided of course...

 

I never save with less than perfect health or body armor...

 

I always load if I get 'busted' or 'wasted'...

 

If possible (which it usually never is) I like to have the 'bullets fired/bullets hit' stat to be the same, along with the 'stars attained/stars evaded' stat.

 

I like my money to always end in at least the next highest hundred or thousand or ten-thousand dollar amount. Like if I had $98 dollars, I'd get it to be $100, or $200 before I'd save. (Except for IV, the money isn't constantly shown)

I feel the exact same way, except with the early packages/early side missions, and the money thing because I like to pick up any money dead dudes drop.

Yup, I'm pretty crazy when it comes to GTA, lol.
