xgtamontariox
You decide, desert, frosty or plane open country area depending on which city it is. If it was somewhere in Canada would there be a frosty district or if it was somewhere like Mexico should there be desert districts. Or maybe a fictional city all together with all in one mixed up. Feel free to post your ideas and suggestions on wether this is a good idea. Edited August 10, 2010 by xgtamontariox
Mr. Scratch
Well if they will make it in SA again i hope it will be similar to RDR's map ,that was perfect
Kwandilibro
Well if they will make it in SA again i hope it will be similar to RDR's map ,that was perfect That's why SA probably isn't next. Although it would be awesome. @ the OP, I think you need a little more explanation than that.
Columbo
What's the question? If you're wondering what kind of landscape I would prefer in GTAV, then the answer is something similar to that of San Andreas, with some dense forests à la RDR's Tall Trees thrown in. 02134
I really liked the country in San Andreas, the open space is nice. You can mess around alot in it, great for driving.

Anyone who's played both RDR & GTA IV must see the fun that could be had with a combination of the two. Cities, deserts, hills, forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, salt flats, route 69 freeway, farms, small towns & trailer parks could all be in a San Andreas game, using some similar landscapes to RDR's map. I also want all the animals from RDR in the next GTA.
Algonquin Assassin
The landscape I would like is forests, mountains etc. Or to put it easier something like Talls Tree in RDR. Alternately if it's set in Vice City I would like to see swamps, and other parts of the Florida landscape not always seen in video games.

Just think about that. The amazing police chases that could stem from having a swamp environment......
Da_Lurker
I'd love some countryside. If I know R* would seriously do some countryside then that's enough for me, I know they can do it well But if I can choose I'd pretty much like something among the GTA SA lines: That's it Forest and mountains....big mountains you can mess around, with roads and stuff in between. Ah, and I want to dive again, underwater. I want my real SEA back!
Algonquin Assassin
Ah, and I want to dive again, underwater. I want my real SEA back! Only if it had a real purpose like evading the cops similar to Assassin's Creed II diving under water breaks the sight of chasing guards. Basically if you dive underwater you could hide under a large rock, or something while the police/bad guys are looking for you. I don't want another pointless scuba diver adventure like in SA. Mr. Scratch
Hell if they are gonna make swamps then we need aligators as well so we can go fishing with dinamite while singing Amos Mose
xgtamontariox
hey thats quite a swell idea (after all, the new gta will need to be as realistic as possible!)
Lialls
In the cities would like very narrow, winding, cramped streets with a dark atmosphere. Away from the cities I'd prefer the opposite like the openness of the Red Dead map, with bright, airy surroundings and a light, clean atmosphere.
