Except for The Simpsons and Family Guy and those sort of cartoons that have sorta grown-upier themes and they don't flash and the goddamn characters don't have goddamn eyes the size of dinnerplates. They allow for storylines, situations and characters that would be otherwise impossible given the nature of traditional entertainment media. They can do jokes and have moments that if done in any other media would look absolutely silly and outside a spoof of a cartoon have no proper place within that media. As for cartoons, most of us are old enough now to watch adult cartoons. Since you are now 13 years of age, I think it would be ideal for you to move on from all of those childish shows/cartoons you've mentioned. Try watching something a little more mature like South Park, Futurama, Family Guy and American Dad. Those are real cartoons...also watch Rockos Modern Life..classic! Pat Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 I'm subscribed to a livestream channel that streams episodes of Angry Beavers, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, etc (basically 90's cartoons) every once in a while. XMike Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 I'm 18 and I don't really watch TV much at all anymore but if I do I'm watching ESPN or some station playing a game. Every now and then I'll watch some "kiddie" shows like Drake and Josh and sh*t (not really cartoons, eh?). If I'm bored and not really trying to go to sleep at night I can usually find Family Guy or South Park, always funny stuff. I remember as a kid being creeped the f*ck out by Courage the Cowardly Dog but I would still watch it all the damn time. Gave me tons of nightmares, probably. The only apple products i have are a macbook and an ipod and im not in love with them. you only hate me probably because i said that anime sucks and how i defend macs. and that's pretty stupid. i hate your type. you easily get pissed off and then hold a grudge, and like anime and i think it's safe to say you have no life. I know Drake and Josh isn't a cartoon but it did air on Nick and I absolutely loved that show as well, too bad they never air it anymore. P.S. iCarly f*cking sucks.
