Just because you think he's "good-looking" does not mean everyone here should like him. I think Maria, in SA, looked quite pretty but that doesn't mean that I start liking her. I, along with many others, think she's a self-centered, drug addicted, money-grabbing, untrustworthy mess and I hate her for that. Same case for Misty. Similarly, I don't like Tommy's taste in clothing and hate his street shirt and his chain/pearl-necklace. Should this mean that I hate him? No. I consider him the best character (not just the best main character) in GTA3 cannon. Also, some people tend to have different opinions to a certain scenario. Claude may seem mysterious, badass and someone who does what he is told without question to some people. To others he would be a nobody, an emotionless jerk and a puppet. Even though both things virtually mean the same, points of view are different. I, myself, like to know who I'm playing as, someone with a back story, an impressive personality and who isn't one-dimensional. In that context, compared to Claude, I like the others more. Similarly, I don't consider Catalina funny. Just loud, annoying and pathetic. But thats my own opinion and I respect the opinion of those who think otherwise. For me, personality is sexier than anything! I liked Maria in GTA III and GTA SA, she was a little dumb, but she was fun and pretty! I've heard she's a bitch in Liberty City Stories, but I never have played Liberty City Stories. Misty is ugly in the game, but in the artwork she's very stylish! I'd like her to appear in more missions, to know more about her. I think Tommy is the unique person in the world who looks a little but stylish in a hawaii shirt, but I rather him with the Mr. Vercetti suit. I used to love him too, but nowadays I only like Claude . There's no problem Dark_side646, I respect your opinion! I was just joking about the Spank. I think its weird how you love Claude for his mysterious-ness but dislike Misty for her mysterious-ness. See? Different points-of-view. Same way how you may like Claude's personality, his silence and cold-hearted attitude. However, a few people (me included) may view his complete lack of emotion as him being a complete jerk, his mysterious attitude as being a nobody and his silence as him being too one-dimensional and lacking any personality or depth. To me, this is a common trait of all the main-villain's henchmen in action-movies/comic strip/video games. Coming back to Claude, his fans may view him as having an aura of bad-assery around him (if that is even a word), destroying everyone and everything in his path. Fair enough. But this has been so for every other GTA main character. As for Claude, IIRC all he did in the cut-scenes 90% of the time was to nod his head, taking instructions from other more well developed characters, making him seem to have as much "personality" as a bobble-head toy. I hope I'm making my point clear and not coming off as confusing. GTA is filled with characters that some people will admire, some may consider to be OK and others may outright hate. The kind who some people will love with a good reason and other people may not like for the very same reason.
