It went from analog to digital. They added in hi-def and DVR. Most of the changes didn't require any action on the user/viewers part - it was all done through firmware and software pushed down to your set-top box(dvr being an exception). When our cable company first went digital and offered DVR we ended up with a new cable box. It was first gen for digital hi-def and dvr. Even though there were tons of channels for pay-per-view and on-demand porn, for some strange ass reason there was one button on the remote that would just show a menu of one porn movie to get via PPV. The button was located very near another button. I can't remember which one other then it was a commonly used one. I can't tell you how many times myself or my wife would hit the 'suggested porn' button by accident. -Bush Pilots 36 -Big Fat Wet Asses the list goes on and on.
