I have the original copy of GTA IV

 

After Skip Opening scene Game stuck, how to Fix it?

Did you install the 'Skip Intro' patch???

 

 

I had a similar problem 1 year back. I fixed it by connecting to internet before playing. So social club and GFWL could do whatever they want.

 

And try to run it in safemode. (I think theres a shortcut in startmenu).

Also, where exactly is it getting stuck - At the main menu or when trying to start a game???

Make sure you have only one GFWL version installed. If the game starts you can try using memrestrict.

You can try installing another game version (update) or install some other GPU driver version. What settings are you using? Are you using any commandline switches?
