Anyone ever got a car all the way over the water and crash-landed it on the other side?

I completed it successfully on an NRG but just wondering if any car will make it.

I tried in a Sultan RS, comet and a few other sports cars but they all fall just short.

I thought the sultan would be best due to the acceleration but it's not well weighted and turns end over end in air.

It is definitely do-able in the Sultan RS and the Super Cars.

 

You must come down Mahesh avenue traveling South and take the corner fast (wrong side of the road works best to cut the bend - you just have to be skillful/lucky enough not to hit anything), to hit the east straight towards the jump at speed.

Cool, yeah - I tried the wrong side of the street thru the turn and worked. The Sult RS still didn't make it though - doesn't fly too well. The Grotti got over.

Its perfectly doable in any supercar, Banshee, Coquette, Sultan RS...Basically anything with a high top speed that you can drive to the ramp fullspeed and it isnt heavy.

Its easy to check since you know you are going to succeed or fail mid jump.

I did it once in free mode MP with an infernus, it flipped a few times and just made the land.

The controls you use to shift your weight on a bike also (strangely) work in a car. You can control the attitude of your car and ensure it lands on it's wheels. But I don't think that this will help with your distance.

I read here somewhere that if you press X (playstation) and use the left analog stick then you can change the roll in mid-air. I keep forgetting to try it when I'm playing though.

I did that jump in a Vincent (Sedan) with popped tires, It was intense! I Almost got there in a Blista Compact, i reckon i could do it with a few more tries. I'm trying to do this jump, and the other island to island jump with the worst cars possible. Next attempt will be one of those junker cars, lol.

Perhaps you've misunderstood the OP's question.

 

We're talking about which specific vehicles it is do-able in, not whether it is possible full stop. Try doing it on a Faggio or a Flatbed and see how far across the river you get.

 

I'm not sure what the slowest car is you can get across in, but I did it with the Sultan RS again the other day. You can also combine this stunt jump with the one to north of Mahesh Avenue which goes over the freeway and do them both without stopping.

As mentioned, I got over the river in an NRG. There's a few jumps where the run up is narrow or bendy and maybe impossible to do in a car. Originally, I thought this might've been one.

 

I'm just going over BoGT again and noticed that if you do the jumps it doesn't cut to cinematic view which is a bit of a shame.

In IV, the 200 pigeons got a bit tedious, but the 50 jumps were all fun.

I tried it in a Blista Compact, took a few tries and got it over, gonna try junkers as well.
