You may know me as the newbie who posted about having no audio in cellphone calls or pedestrian interactions and whatnot. Well, I have a fix! (This is for Vista users) Go into the properties of gta_sa.exe, right click "Run in compatibility mode" and select Windows 98. Then click "Run as admin". Note: These modifications necessitate that the game be run full-screen, at least as far as I know. I've tried running it in a window, and it just locks up. Eh. Small price to pay for getting working audio! Oh, and another note: some of the inter-world loading times get jacked up a bit by doing this...so if you're used to on your brand-new computer having blazing-fast loading times (me) don't freak when it pauses a bit between your house and the world, or vice-versa...I did, and ended up losing my save cuz I'm an idiot.
