Matheus Reis
I've found in a tutorial how to put the valor of a variable on the screen but I'm not finding it no more, can anyone help me?
Deji
You want something like this? 045A: draw_text_1number 320.0 155.333 GXT 'NUMB' number [email protected]
Matheus Reis
I tried this, but the number flashes, how can I fix it? wait 0 :A 06AC: $Speed = actor $PLAYER_ACTOR movement_speed 0151: remove_status_text $Speed 0014: $Speed /= 100000 03C4: set_status_text_to $Speed 0 'SWE4_08' // CAR HEALTH wait 50 0002: jump @A
james227uk
AFAIK, if you remove the wait 50 it should fix it.
Deji
Removing the wait completely would crash the game since the other wait is outside of the loop. This should work sweetly: :A06AC: $Speed = actor $PLAYER_ACTOR movement_speed0151: remove_status_text $Speed0014: $Speed /= 10000003C4: set_status_text_to $Speed 0 'SWE4_08' // CAR HEALTHwait 00002: jump @A Although I have no idea why you wanna divide the speed by that much (maximum I rember getting from that opcode is 4 when the player is running)... And doing that will make your variable a float in most cases, meaning it will not display correctly on-screen.
spaceeinstein
Removing and recreating the "status_text" is redundant. ...03C4: set_status_text_to $Speed 0 'SWE4_08' // CAR HEALTH:A06AC: $Speed = actor $PLAYER_ACTOR movement_speed0151: remove_status_text $Speed0014: $Speed /= 100000 Edited August 9, 2010 by spaceeinstein
