iDX
Hi guys! I'm new here at the forums, can't understand why though, since I've played GTA:SA since it was released x) Anyway, I have this MAJOR problem while driving. The vehicles somehow seem to brake while I drive. Like, if I release the acceleration button (W), the car brakes.. :s If I try to burnout sometimes, or spin 360 degrees (which is needed for the first lesson at the driving school in SF), the car bugges around. It turns like maybe 45 degrees, then it "stops", then it spins another 45 degrees :s Anyone know what the problem might be? Tell me if you want me to post system specs and in-game graphics options
lil weasel
Always post the information That's why it is in the Header Banner: And... ... Note that this forum is only for unmodded copies of the game. For anything related to add-ons, tools or mods, please visit the modding forums. Before going too far, as a lot of time is wasted on trying to fix a no-fix situation: Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the Drive? You are not trying to use a No-CD program or crack. If you Downloaded your game: is it from other than Direct2Drive or SteamPower.com?
iDX
NVM! I found the problem. My friend told me Frame Limiter was the same as vSync.. Well.. It isn't, probably.. x3 After re-enabling Frame Limiter, I didn't have this problem anymore! BUT I still got another problem.. Cuz when I enable Frame Limiter, the game "lags". FPS is too low. Like at 20 or something I think :s Is there any way to fix without disabling Frame Limiter? Edited August 9, 2010 by iDX Sh000ter
lil weasel
No help because of the No-Cd crack. Maybe your system upgraded a video driver, if so try a roll-back.
iDX
Problem "solved" Downloaded http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-san...reas/tools/3060 and tried setting my FPS to 105 (60), and it was like if I had frame limiter off. But when I tried 55 (40) it ran pretty smooth (smooth enough) and the handling and braking was working fully! Ty for trying anyway Sh000ter
Bly13
I have this same problem, except the Frame Limit Mod doesn't work for me. I have a steam copy of the game.
