well there is no point in downloading this (for me) as i wanted to make peds, you sure you cant spend some more time working on the bones? so youll have a more complete first release, atleast.

Why not release one without bones first? If I'd add that first that would only make people that don't need bones wait longer. And you've got to wait the same time when I add it to the second release, can't add bones support faster then I am trying to do right now wink.gif

yes but why shouldnt he release it without bones support and make an update, releasing both together is nonsense because it will take the same time to make it work, but we have to wait longer for the almost finished col support

Link have you been able to make a collision'd object for IV yet or is it still in progress? Will IV collision importing be available too?

I can import cols, boxes and geometry (geometry is still bugged tho) and export box cols. Still lots of work needs to be done for cols, but we will get it to work some day tounge.gif

Well uh aren't box cols really the most common geometry shapes? I mean buildings , roads and that stuff, maybe release your beta version of WBD export.Its just a matter of scales for these 2 and how much it is extruded. It is really up to you what you will release and noone can force you to release but at least we can give out our suggestions tounge.gif

 

It has been more than a half a year since your last release, so yea smell of release is indeed in the air.

And no, box cols are useless for buildings with more then 4 polys. So I want to finish full WBD export first.

You must think i love Zmodeller to say that. Well , i don't and i don't support Oleg nor Zmodeller , i support you tho. Besides it is clear he isn't even working on it and It's all abot the cars for him -_-.

 

 

Anyhoo it would be no damn use , cause his tool is pure crap when it comes to exporting map objects.

 

Only reason we used it is because we wanted to test it out , and get something from it if we could and results are that we couldnt . Only useful thing for us/you might be the wbd importer in 2.2.3 which also worked as crap.

Should work on both, I'll test it when I get home!

 

Edit: Just tested it and it works both on the 64bit and 32 bit edition of 3DS Max 2010.

 

(If anyone can test it on an older version of 3DS Max, PM me)

These boxes might be the bricks that Niko picks up in mission : BUll in a China Shop (mightve spelled the name wrong but its something similar) when he smashes a shop for Vlad.

 

Technically they are weapons too tounge.gif

Almost all weapons loaded here. Except for 5 that use a different coltype.
