Riddalyn
So it only took me maybe 2-3 days to finish and beat GTA IV, BOGT & L&D. I'm now wondering why I keep purchasing these games w/ too short a story line, need more content. Yes i know theirs multiplayer, been there, dun it. I know theres unlockables, dun it. So please dont respond saying all the other things to do cuz chances are ive dun it. But, still bored, lol. Gimme more!!!
paul
Maybe it's not the game, it's YOU. Instead of doing 50 missions a day and doing taxi skip everywhere, explore the city, do side missions, take your time. GTA IV + EFLC has over 150 missions, if you did that in 3 days, your loss. Zedo Mann
And your friends must hate you right now too. Really, I just got onto the third island and I've been playing for a few days now using the majority of the time I'm awake. Zedo Mann
play the GTA 3 canon games. their more challenging This. GTA 3's final mission was a bit more challenging than the other games.
Seddo
They've certainly got easier, there were a fair few tough missions in GTA 3 such as driving around the whole city in a time limit destroying drug kiosk things and a few more. The same goes for Vice City, that mission trying to beat Hilary in a race took me ages to complete. San Andreas was the first game i completed where i didn't use cheats, so maybe they started making it easier so casual gamers enjoy it more or something. It took me about 2 weeks to complete GTA 4 and i hammered it, can't believe you done GTA 4 and the DLC in 2-3 days .
Rockworm
....... you really beat all 3 games in 3 days?? damn I been putting a lot of time into fallout 3 these laste 3 days but even I have my limits. Jeez if you've already gotten 100% with all 3 days then you must have not slept barely taken any breaks or anything.... Honestly I feel sorry for you because you make playing the game sound more like a chore than a game....
Karambalaya
Woah Riddalyn, what's the rush? I agree that there could be even more missions, but one have to enjoy the game while playing it. Explore the city, have a look around, amuse yourself with the sarcasms on the in-game internet, fool around with peds and cars, wreak havoc with a Buzzard, do side missions.. And if you need an extra challenge, turn off auto aim and disable the radar/GPS.

Especially mental health, I speak from experience Even more so if you are making a no busted-wasted version. Try to take your time next time, or try III era games. If you want real challenge, try R* classics GTA and GTA 2. Now that's challenging.
spaceeinstein
"GTA titles to easy" compared to what? Easy is such a subjective word.
Algonquin Assassin
GTA IV has 94 missions. If you ask me that's more than enough. If you finished it in only 3 days IMO it has nothing to do with how difficult you found the missions. You simply rushed it. I actually like the flow that GTA IV has. There were many missions in the old games where I wanted to break my controller out of pure anger, but honestly I think people over exaggerate how difficult they are. On a whole scale I would say all GTAs are fairly moderate with their difficulty, but it seems R* made GTA IV a bit more player friendly. I've even noticed this in RDR. If you want a harder experience turn off auto-aim, and don't use cover at all.
cidamelo
I take months to end a GTA!! But I don't think it is too easy. But it isn't hard too. It's a good difficult level (not too hard, not too easy).
mister seta 123
I finshed GTA IV recently (the last wednesday) and it made me a bit short, but I enjoyed it. It took me more as a week complete the history. Maybe the missions are a more easy than the other games, but some some missions have his difficulty. (the mission of the robbery of the Bank of Liberty with Packie and co., for example) Its the 2nd GTA that I've finished, along with CW. GTA III and Vice city missions are very hard, especialy GTA III's. That's why I don't play them, but its on my list to finish them. (and San Andreas too, but I started the game from the beginning so many times because of the save game that I'm fed up) Edited August 9, 2010 by mister seta

CryptReaperDorian
Yeah, if you think GTA IV is too easy (so do I, but I prefer fun over challenge), then play older GTAs. The original GTA, GTA 2, and GTA III are most likely the hardest GTAs ever. In GTA III your vehicle was as balanced as a cow on a bicycle, and mobsters would run up to you or your vehicle to shoot it with a shotgun. I really thought TLAD and TBOGT were more difficult than GTA IV, but they still weren't as frustrating as GTA III. I also hated that mission where you were supposed to do a drive-by on somebody in a Columbian Cartel. That took me a lot of thinking and planning to beat it. its_ceri_d
GTA's aren't too easy (although they have gotten easier) or too short. They're much longer than a lot of games that come out these days. The games last longer if you explore these wonderful environments that R* have created for us. I found myself on countless occasions I've just wandered round Liberty City (in IV) just watching what the peds do and listening to their conversations. LakeGTA
They've certainly got easier, there were a fair few tough missions in GTA 3 such as driving around the whole city in a time limit destroying drug kiosk things and a few more. That mission drove me INSANE! f*cking hell the number of tries I had at it, gta 3 was the toughest gta to beat for me, they've all got easier since, Vice City was easier, I completed SA with more ease, and again GTA IV seemed abit easier than that. But really, 2-3 days, all THREE games. That's just... well maybe you should take a break, eat, drink. It honestly takes me months to finish a GTA game, but then again I can't have the freedom of playing it for hours and hours each day, most of my game time comes at the weekend. Vamp 1911
I thought the number of missions the game had was perfect. But all 3 games in 3 days. No way!! Where is the enjoyment in doing that???? Each GTA game is a lot easier, I'll grant you that, but I prefer it that way. The game allows you to take it slowly and really soak in the feel of Liberty City. I was very glad to see the end of timed missions.
Algonquin Assassin
I was very glad to see the end of timed missions. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I seriously hated timed missions. I like to take my time, and plot different ways of completing the objective. The game having you by the balls (so to speak) in past GTAs was no fun. Kokuei
They got a lot easier since GTA 3, and Vice City. San andreas and GTA 4 are very easy compared to them. Chinatown wars and liberty city stories is just as easy. However Vice City stories have the most difficult missions I've seen since vice city.
