jnzooger
You think you really smart, eh? You just a f*cking noobball. BTW SA is still way f*cking better than "gay" Vice City and IV combined. The next GTA will be on the present day San Andreas and have all the features from GTA:SA in it. And it would f*ckloads more than a GTA based on VC. San Andreas was one of the WORST GTAs imo. The storyline was all over the place, getting 100% was tedious, the side missions were mostly luck based instead of skill, the setting was not well represented until the end of the game, and the controls, while upgraded to make the PS2 control way better, quite killed controlling on the PC without a controller. I know a lot of people won't agree with me on one or all of the points above, but at least I give my reasons why I feel that way. Now, you have said NOTHING to justify why SA is so great compared to VC or IV except that its set in the 90s. You have also said NOTHING to justify why anything before the 90s sucks or is "gay" to you. In other words, you are a trolling little kid who thinks the world revolves around you. I feel sorry for you when you finally grow up and realize how the world really works.

I agree with that, SA didn't know what it wanted to be, one minute its about gangbangers, then a Bonny & Clyde type story, then an illegal drug ring and street racing storyline, then some spy thriller, then a Oceans Eleven wanna be back to a gangbanger storyline, it was just silly. VC was an amazing story about a gangster breaking free from the mafia and taking over a city, IV was an amazing story about an illegal immigrant with a sad past

GTA SA's storyline was the worst ever IMVHO - there was no consistency, it seemed missions were merely randomly juxtaposed one after another. Plus, CJ was the worst protagonist too - IMVHO. (I can't speak for GTA IV though, because I haven't finished it yet.)
slyeagle
early 70's you would still have the 50's and 60's muscle cars, and jimi, and the doors on the radio, but also the funky disco tunes, big flares, b52 bombers, concorde, jag e type, ferrarri dino, nice
Kwandilibro
You know what? You are absolutely right! I f*cking hate history classes, they are a f*cking waste of time! Past is past, who gives a f*ck about them! I also hate oldies music too. Some 90s music I can tolerate because they pretty close to modern stuff but the rest is crap. And don't get me f*cking started with 80s music, I hate them with a vengeance. Although SA is my all time favourite GTA, I just don't feel anything for the f*cking period because it is totally f*cking irrelevant to me. If I have it my way, I want another SA-type GTA based on the present day. No f*cking 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s! Let those f*cking times die! Looking through all your posts since you've joined I've come to the conclusion that "retard', "douchebag", "asshole" or any other insult simply isn't worthy. I apologize in advance if what I'm about to say offends anyone, but.... You should've been the sperm that should've dripped down the side of your mother's leg. A complete waste of space in the gene pool far as I'm concerned. If you don't like the past say it in a civilized manner without saying f*ck in every sentence you make. I can already tell your time here will be cut short if your attitude doesn't improve. It's no wonder people think today's generation are a bunch of disrespectful little pricks. You really enjoy being a troll, huh? @undo, SA may have had missions that made no sense for CJ. It also had seemingly impossible situations altogether. To make matters worse, here comes CJ with his damn double standards. But the game was fun. IV, on the other hand made plenty of sense. Why? Because all Niko ever did was kill. Kill this person, kill these people, kill that guy, kill this guy, kill those guys. Not to mention that Niko was always so damn depressed. It made for a very dismal storyline, IMO. It went from gangbanging to farming to street racing to casinos and back to gangbanging. The f*ck? It'd be discerning to see a new storyline As for the time period matter, like I said, the 80's. But regarding the storyline only, it was very inconsistent, and CJ was a very incoherent and bad built character - as you so well described. IV, on the other hand made plenty of sense. Why? These protagonists never have any true motivation. They should run around like hood rats, being everybody's bitch. That's why GTA needs drug dealing. No motivation can quite compare to drug dealing. GTA needs a protagonist who doesn't act like a bitch doing everybody's dirty work, and some type of motivation to tie the storyline together so it makes some sense. No more, "I just kill for the money", and no more "I'm doing the police officers' dirty work".
Mr Vice City
I would like a return to the 1980's. Being an 80's guy it would be awesome to return to that era. And the 80's had the best music.

You are clearly the most retarded SA fanboy I've ever seen on this forum. Atleast when other people say they like SA over the other GTAs they provide reasons for it. You on the other hand carry this "because I said so" attitude. I personally think you're an insult to the SA fanbase. Not even the Saints Row community deserves a waste of a sperm deposit like you. IMO VC, and GTA IV are better games than SA. SA was/is a great game, something about it doesn't feel "GTA". Then again I have been playing GTA since 1998, so I guess I was used to the way the old GTAs were done. I enjoy both of the stories in VC, and GTA IV alot more, and even just general sandboxing is more fun. To me SA has always been about quantity over substance, It sure as hell has alot of features, but gets lost in translation, and literally tries to be things it's not. VC, and GTA IV are far more consistent with their approach to how things are done, and to me atleast provide a much better experience rather than being awed by a heap of features which has never really been a concern for me since GTA 1. junkie2115
The 50s and the 70s are the only timeframes that R* hasn't touched yet. However, Agent is set in the 70s. (40s is covered by LA Noire, and the turn of the century is RDR.) This leaves the 50s in my mind as a good time to use. Cars were just getting good and we were just getting into the modern era of the world. You had great music, fun crimes, the start of the space program, you name it. I think Mafia games and The Godfather Games cleaned that up?

R* hasn't made a game set in either time frame yet. The point is that Rockstar needs to use them. Not 2K, their sister company, not EA, their rival, etc.
