GTAOCD
Because I'm OCD and all, I always try NOT to damage mission vehicles, or any other vehicle while driving TO a mission vehicle, lol. Well it took me about... hmm... I'd say about 25 attempts before I finished the Firetruck Mission without damaging it at all and parking it back at the fire station. The Paramedic Mission took about the same. I tried the Taxi Mission (100 FARES! O_O) without damaging the car. I got all the way to fare #67 and damaged the right rear passenger door after inadvertently backing up into the customer that had gotten out, didn't get hit or hit anything myself, stupid fare. The Trash Collection Mission was easy not to damage the Trashmaster. You can simply back up into the trash cans straight on and not damage it, so that mission was easy. I can't wait until I can get a "Comprehensive Proof" car to drive around! XD Any others you've tried?

The majority of the GTA gamers always damage their car to speed up and finish the mission without having the timer run out, so you'll rarely get people who'll say they tried it. Proud Fool
We must be brothers, I play the whole game without crashing my car, I love it, it adds longevity to the game. But there are missions where you must crash, like Karmageddon.
Shark_Cipriani
And I thought 100 taxi missions in a single run was something. 67 fares without damaging the car, wow! I respray it 10 times in 100 fares lol
RICHM7
guys, its grand theft auto, not real life. why would anybody try not to hit cars. thats what all gtas are about. doing missions, killing people, not following the rules, crashing. why would you want to drive safely. if your car crashes or gets on fire then just get another one (so simple)

It's fun and pleasing to play the game with certain ticks and weird stuff to accomplish. For instance, in IV I would have to drive around and collect 25 Molotov Cocktails (several times) and use THOSE to kill all the Pigeons, and not by gunfire because the "shots fired/shots hit" would get messed up, lol. RICHM7
What's wrong with being a good driver? Exactly. im nt saying that there is something wrong. im just saying why would you drive safe in gta. you can drive safe in real life but why on gta
Anasterian
Im trying it too in every GTA, in gta 3 era games its easy compared to GTA 4, though... Here if you don't hit something you don't get a dent, in GTA 4 a simple small jump and you have a small dent in ur front bumper..
Proud Fool
I call it evasive driving, I'm not abiding by any laws, it gives you a certain satisfaction to never crash, and the more you do it the better you become.
Mercenary Lady
Wow... I'm afraid I don't have the patience to do so. That's quite an impressive accomplishment though. But me, I have an OCD (well, sort of) about NOT getting busted or wasted. Everytime I fail a mission, I re-load the game and try again until I pass the mission at the 'first try'. Sometimes I laugh when I see other people's stats, especially the number of times they've been arrested and wasted I've finished LCS, VCS and CTW without getting busted/wasted. Time to try it on San Andreas... if I have the time, that is.
GTAOCD
Yeah, that type of thing goes for all the GTAs, I'm OCD about a TON of stuff, lol. Is CTW for the PS2 also?

I finished III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, CTW, IV, TLAD and TBOGT w/o getting busted or wasted. I even %100'ed VC and SA under these circumstances. Mercenary Lady
Nah, no CTW for the PS2. If there is, I'll buy it and play it all over again like hell. I played both the PSP and iPod Touch versions of CTW (with a 0% busted/wasted rate, of course)
Snake Without a Tongue
I try my best not to wreck my car. I never wreck it myself, but often times some AI car will plow into me for no reason. If I wreck, I just change cars. But I too can't bear a wasted or busted on my conscience. I expect in future GTAs they'll do the RDR thing and just reload from a previous save. dakshay95
I agree the car looks so "bad" (thats an understatement). I try to do the same. It looks awful when mirror cracks up as well.
