Yeah I think the big girl movement is getting out of hand. Big girl movement? Oh, you mean fat people bitching. I DO feel bad for people that are genetically 'inferior' and are just born with more fat producing/storing bodies, But women talking about 'fat is beautiful' and 'fat rights' are complete f*ckheads. I understand that just because you're fat you shouldn't be treated like trash. and I agree. But the women glorifying short lifespans and over consumption are idiots. Yes, some men are into women that will die early, but it's still incredibly unhealthy and certainly not something to strive for. From a medical standpoint, even from an environmentalist stand point, people should not consume that much. It wastes far too many resources and eventually others will have to foot your bill. We'll help you, we'll help crack heads too. But I don't see crackheads talking about how terrific it is trying to strive for the exhilarating feeling they felt after their first hit. Although I don't really tend to go for girls who dress similair to America's Next Top Model or whatever, I like people who tend to dress differently to others and do it themselves instead of buying all their sh*t from Top Shop or River Island or any of that sh*te. Slamman would take a good discussion and ruin it with his unrelated (not to mention boring) anecdotes, cidamelo says what she knows and sticks to the topic at hand. As for the weight issue, skinny girls are nasty: when I watch America's Next Top Model I see girls say "I'm a plus-size model" when she's the only one with a healthy BMI (not to mention in the lower end of the band ). You need a real person to model clothes, otherwise you may as well use a coat-hanger...I don't know where this whole size-zero culture came from when 90% of guys don't even like that. However, being the jealous type, I would probably prefer my GF doesn't wear overly revealing clothes etc... But either case, flashy clothes are definately preferable, if the particular style suites the girl. Though I'm just speaking for myself, there are men who prefer girls wear more conservative clothes. He could tell you all about what makes LaserDisc such a superior medium for video, and do it in any thread in the Forum. But seriously, LaserDisc really IS that good. Being an optical medium there's no signal degradation like with VHS or BETA. Too bad so few good movies were released on it, but Jaws looks awesome!! I got a Sony deck that works as good as the day it was made. I love slim girls like my g/f. She's not skinny but a healthy looking slim. I get turned off any woman slightly over weight for many reasons despite having a little beer belly myself. She borrowed one of my hoodies yesterday and it suited her more than me, lol. It's an Oakley mountain biking hoodie with skulls all over it. If we go out she dresses up in a skirt and a nice top, and sometimes crazy platform shoes that make her (ample) chest at my eye level. I'm the same though. Day-to-day stuff is either jeans or combat trousers, a t-shirt, a hoodie (weather dependent, a nice hoodie though, like an iron fist or something) and a big wallet chain and a studded wrist band (yeah, I'm a tiny bit goth / punk / metal / whatever), but if I go out in town I put on a nice (usually a black) shirt and some not-so-knackered jeans, lol. And they believe on the media, instead of believing in the mirror . But I've heard that the anorexic people looks in the mirror and see another image than it really is.
