Francis115
What does the error say? Did you correctly apply the textures? Because All I can see from your screenshot is a white thing (white means missing textures)

RanxeroX
I had a look at your first .max file and based on that, here's what I've found... First off, it's VERY surprising to hear you say that you're able to get the game to get your vehicle to spawn. There are alot of problems with it that could cause the game to choke on it. Here are some of the things wrong with it: - Model is not centered and aligned properly at 0,0,0. Scale may be off too depending on your unit setup but I didn't really make a note of it. Try to place the model's center-of-mass at the origin. - Missing a fair number of required dummy objects. The ones that were there looked very strange - they should be box-shaped not some rhombus-looking thing with rays shooting from one side. Also they're not in correct places. Your ped frontseat placement for example, would have half the driver sticking out the top of the car. And simply placing dummies for headlights and taillights isn't going to get them to work. You need the matching materials for that. - A number of different car parts were non-existent. You need to have separate doors, trunk and hood objects. Also no chassis-LOD but that's no biggie since alot of people don't add that and have no trouble. No matching damage objects of the parts I just named. They're needed for when the car gets hit and you want to see realistic damage. - Materials should be GTA materials for easy export but it can work with Max defaults. Setting material type to GTA would allow you to easily select primary/secondary colors, headlight/taillight colors, etc. by picking from a list. - Model is very low poly and the design needs lots of tweaking and details to look realistic. Your hood area, for example, is so high that it wouldn't be possible to see much of the road ahead if it were a real car or you switched to an in-car view. Try to make the vehicle more curved and avoid square corners and add details like trim, vehicle interior, etc.. So there you go... Some constructive criticism for you! My suggestion to you is to import a vehicle (original or otherwise) and study it very carefully to see where you need to do more work. And either in GGMM or 3ds-Max, view the hierarchy to see how a car should be set up there.

RanxeroX
Most likely your problem with parts is because you need to move each part's pivot point to the same place where the dummy object for that part is located. Eg. Move the pivot for the driver's door to the location on the door where you want it to swing open and closed - this should match where you've placed the dummy on the chassis. Do this by selecting the object you want to move the pivot point of, select the Hierarchy tab on the right of the screen, click on Pivot Only, click the Move gadget, then move the pivot in 3 dimensions until its in the needed spot. This advice applies to the doors, trunk, hood and wheel - any moving part of the vehicle basically. Click again on Pivot Only when done. When you've made all your changes, as a final measure, group-select all objects, select the Utility tab and then click on 'Reset Xform'. This means Reset Transforms. What this will do is reset all scaling and other changes you've made to your objects. This ensures that the game will interpret your model correctly and not try to resize or move the parts. You can collapse the stack for each part if you're done changing or want to do other things. Just reapply it when needed. As for your taillights, you need to make the material for them a certain color. The game engine will look for this color to know which parts are the taillights. Don't ask me what the exactly value is but the info's out there. If you followed my previous advice and set up GTA materials it might be in the list of colors, but I'm fuzzy on that as I haven't messed with that in quite awhile. And before I forget... I don't know how you're doing screenshots of the game but posting raw bitmaps is not the way to go. Use .jpeg format and your pics will be a lot smaller! The easiest way to do this is to use the in-game camera to snap pictures and it will automatically be saved in a Gallery folder under My Documents. Otherwise use some kind of screen-grabber and convert them after if needed.

RanxeroX
You're welcome... Good to see that you were able to get it working. Now you just need to refine your model and add all the other little things. As for details on the lights, search this forum and/or use the 'Gta Modding' link on the left of this site's layout. You should find the answer for that and much more once you get there. Good luck with your project!
ogaseruy
Supposedly our other new ability is Healing Focus WOW Gold, which is actually just the return of an existing talent on live that was "iced" or whatever that means when we Buy WOW Gold or went to the 41-point system. I say "supposedly" because I still haven't actually found it in the game yet, but maybe it'll pop up next Aion Gold patch, since it doesn't appear to be implemented yet. I honestly hadn't thought much of it until now, since the talent hasn't seen much use in WOW Power Leveling Wrath outside of PVP. I wonder if this means we can look forward to more pushback in Cataclysm. Granted, if the ability is passive, we probably won't notice the Aion Leveling pushback either, so what am I talking about? I think I just ran out of mana or something.
