Barry Spock
They remind me a bit of Armando and the other guy - not especially helpful. I just took them on the the fixer's mission where there's a warehouse in Alderney city with three dudes you have to smoke.

Anasterian
I never used them, either because i didn't need(well, after all Niko is one man army ) or didnt think of that. Though they always arrive in a unique colored PMP 600/Presidente/Patriot, so this is still an usage idea

Grizzly20
To be honest, I don't think they were ever intended to be good fighters in combat. They come with only a 9mm equipped on one, and a Micro-Uzi on the other. Sure, close up the Micro-Uzi guy rapes, but really, I believe they were just intended to serve as a distraction, so Niko doesn't have every bullet flying at him. I took them on the mission "Deconstruction for Beginners" and I only took maybe seven hits. They died of course, but I saw how useful they were in large firefights. If you want some good fun, steal a van, or any vehicle with doors in the back, call them, and hopefully the guy with the Micro Uzi with get in the back. Get a high wanted level, and watch as he mows them down with that thing.

lloydo
They're quite useful for firefights, also quite interesting to sit back and watch them shoot at your enemies or cops.

Barry Spock
75 or 80%. No one has higher than 80. One more outing. take him to the Italian restaurant or the 69 diner. He likes them.

The Holland play is needed to unlock Dwayne as a friend, and "Deconstruction for Beginners" is a pre-requisite for this. I find they are most useful in missions where threats do not show up on the radar, because the goons will tend to know where they are and point their guns in that direction - e.g. "Trespass" where it is sometimes hard to spot everyone hiding in the ruined factory. Puto Bendejo
I usually use Dwaynes Back-up Goons in only ONE mission. and I DO find them very useful for it. Phil Bell's mission "Catch the Wave" seems to be difficult as Phil likes to rush in and get himself killed. using the backup makes it a bit easier. The Lolwut Pear
Extremely helpful in the mission Catch the Wave. They provide a distraction, so you and Phil can just rush through the Russians.

Had a great firefight in hove beach going in and out of the 69 cafe or whatever it's called. For missions I used them in several like catch the wave and the one in the Chinese restaurant in Alderney. I never used them in the last missions though. I just never thought of it.
AlexGTAGamer
They are useless to me because when I attempt the mission "Truck Hustle" they never kill any of the enemys, and also when I did the Eddie Low second encounter mission as soon as Eddie began to attack me they both ran off. Anasterian
They never help me. I mean, everytime i call Dwayne its "I can't just now, the boyz are chilling" "Man i'd love to but the boyz are chilling." or "The boyz are chilling after last time(WTF?)" They are busy 24/7 or what? jonny90
ussually used dwaynes boys for the bank job. but other things I always intend to use dwaynes boys when I am in a firefight with police and civillians. darn police are a pain in the neck when you are in a full on firefight with civillians does not help when police are breathing down your neck but dwaynes boys do help alot in those type of situations. Barry Spock
Well buddy I'm guessing that Dwayne's boys are only available when you're doing missions, and are not to be used to fill the back seat so you can ride the car-pool lane on the expressway while dating Roman.
