dcvele
Hello, I'm new here and kind of in rush so I hope you won't get mad if there is a topic like this one. Anyway I started playing SA again on Windows 7 64-bit and it worked great, then I started installing mods and backing everything up. I installed around 20 mods for cars, clothes, weapons etc. and it worked great. And then I added even more mods everything checked up and done right and when I tried to run the game like always it crashed after game loading screen, everything else is OK but it won't start the game. When I run it in compatibility for W 98 I don't have any games saved or mods but it starts and when I run it in compatibility mode for XP service pack 2 it loads my saved game but there are no mods. After running it as administrator it loads my game but there are again no mods. Pls is there anything I can do, I really want to play with these mods. Thanks in advance and sorry for the reason from the first sentence.
Thunder-Z
Use Windows XP Service Pack 2, just downgrade your GTA San Andreas to v1.0, it will come up an error saying "Unknown version", I think it downgraded already when the error message comes up. After modding, and you experienced like lag problems, draw distance problems, download San Andreas Stream Memory Fix, extract the .asi and the 2 .dll files to your desktop and open the folder and open your GTA San Andreas folder, drag the 3 files on your GTA San Andreas folder and confirim replace. That's all you need in modding like problems. Use a USB device; probably 8GB, (I use 8GB USB), drag your GTA San Andreas folder there without the mods, or anything, just the original, then after, remove it. If you wanna unmod something, copy the original file from your USB to file you want to replace. That's the method I uninstall mods. DON'T FORGET TO READ WHAT I TYPED. IT CAN HELP IN MODDING ^.^
