SR20DE
We all certainly are aware that GTA IV wasn't necessarily the best PC game ever, mostly in respect to how Rockstar ported it. We all remember the constant crashes, lagging, people being unable to play on a perfectly good system, etc. The PC port of IV can be compared to GTA III's PC port. Back in the day, the game ran horridly on decently capable systems. Almost the same situation as today, if I remember correctly. Then came Vice City. The game actually ran good, much to the pleasure of PC gamers. So the question is, if GTA V is released on the PC platform (which will most likely happen), do you think Rockstar will have optimized the game's engine to play and respond better? I'm certainly hoping so. Discuss.
Rede
I feel doubtful that GTA IV was a bad port. It seems more likely that the people who reported issues were trying to run it on a laptop or some other system that wasn't designed for gaming. I've personally found that it runs more smoothly than San Andreas on the same system. Is there any evidence that it's not well optimized?
