G The Generous Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 well,i know it illegal,but i have a problem i have GTA 3 CD,but the CD 2 is crash now,everytime i tried to copy audio file from cd,my PC is freeze it has been 3 time i buy GTA 3 because CD 2 crash,and now even i'm go to store,they aren't sell GTA 3 anymore,even i looking for illegal link download,file are delete because old... i want to use GTA 3 with patch 1.1 to play some mod and improve some bug,but every time i used 1.1 no cd crack,it just keep ask me to put disk 2 in but patch 1.0 is work fine,but i can't play some mod with it so if anyone know to solve this problem,please help me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mustang_glend Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 How about if you download another v1.1 patch?, or look for the 1.1 crack, also, if your 2nd cd is scratched and f*cked up, dont try to reinstall the game, that will give you catastrofic results, and if there arent more copies of GTA III on sell, download it, there are a lot of websites to look for GTA III! radioman Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 The ONLY way to play GTA III legally without a disk, is to get the Steam/D2D version-these versions are 1.1 and fully compatible with saves from the CD version. Just a heads up. The only game download site we are allowed to link, as per the rules(pinned in Announcements section), is the Steam/D2D site. radioman Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 (edited) If you have a slow internet connection/unreliable internet connection, then your only option is to get the Retail (CD) version-it is still available from Amazon.com, Wal-Mart.com(via the Trilogy pack), EBgames.com, etc. Here's one retail version @ Wal-Mart.com, Here's the Amazon.com link, for example.. If you don't want to/can't download the Steam(legal) version, then why are you trying to download the illegal version? Just curious...by the way, pretty much all warez copies have the Audio removed to cut down on the file size, since that is the bulk of the size...
