NYPDChief Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 hey guys! i know a 12 yr. old turning 13 and he's mature and his parents dont let him have Nudity Mature games but he can have mature games and we have a police clan and he only wants it for online for the police clan and stuff so is it ok for him? i've talked to a few players and they said they would let him but i wana double check also he doesn't mind ppl tlking sh*t and stuff. As much as there are a lot of ratings that aren't very fitting, I doubt you should let a 12 year old play online, or GTA at all for that matter if they're going to be running around and shooting. I guess if people just drive cars around in the city (I personally know some people who do this), they'll usually be fine. And plus, the nudity in TLaD can easily be skipped since it's during a cut scene. There isn't actually nudity during the game play it self. I know its harsh but the majority of under 18's just run around ruining every single multiplayer game becouse there simply not mature enough to act accordingly. I guess whatever rating the game has in your country should be the tell tale sign if its suitable. You're just one of those people who love to jump on the bandwagon and put down anybody who is under 18..sure in most other countries the age is 18, but here it's 15. So no, I'm not a hypocrite. There's a hell of a lot of a difference in those three years there buddy, in those three years I've moved houses, moved schools twice, and most importantly gone/going through puberty. I'd say that 13 is where maturing up starts anyway. You're now just trying to back your invalid argument up with.. nothing really. I just had to say, theres some ignorant parents out there.After all they have to buy your friend this game. I really think the ratings are there for a reason. Whatever they are in your country. Hey mom and dad, take abit more interest in your kids life.Then you could decide weather or not your son is suitable for the game, not is the game suitable for him. sheessh.
