Addicted to GTA

Most of us here really loves GTA. But how many truly are addicted to it? How do I know you're truly addicted to it?

 

Because, I only have one ps3 game, and I bought my ps3 just to play GTA. I feel like I'd rather quit my job, stay at home, and get fat playing GTA or I'd rather stay at home playing than spend time with my GF, Stay up all night playing, forgetting to eat and sleep, I don't experience road rage ever in real life because I have used up all that rage in GTA and, frankly, im too exhausted to feel it, and I actually bow down Sam and Dan Houser and David Jones.

To be honest GTA games are really the only games I'm really addicted to. Whenever I get a new GTA I literally don't play anything else until I get bored of it.

 

When I got GTA IV on my PS3 on release day I didn't play any other games for about 3 months, and when I did I got bored, and went back to GTA IV.

 

GTA games typically are the only games I tend to finish. I have finished other games, but IMO GTA games the few games that give you the feeling that you must play more to reveal more of the story, or you say to yourself "I'll stop playing in a few minutes", but you can't help playing for a few more hours.

I think I actually am. Especially GTA4 right now.

I'll be about to save and then get in a shootout with cops inside the safehouse.

Nah. I was really into the older GTA's like 3/VC/SA. GTAIV, not so much. I played that game for story sake to see what GTA IV was all about and what you could do.

 

Don't have as much time for games now. If I ever play GTA, I usually play the latest one. (TBOGT)

Rockstar is the only gaming company whom I have posters of, pre-order games, and speak well of.

 

I find the amount of work Rockstar puts into their games is what makes them so easy to immerse in and easy to be addicted to in the first place.

That's kind of insulting. The only way a great company makes more great games is when people praise it. With no praise, there's no point in making a game.

I am addicted to GTA, I've given up lots of oppourtunities for GTA, especially GTA IV.

 

Currently I'm more addicted to Left 4 Dead.

I'm very addicted to The Sims and GTA!! They're great! But I don't give up my daily tasks to play (unfortunately )

Wow, that's extreme. I've played GTA IV to death but I'd never stop doing usual stuff just to play it..

I guess i am, they are the only "long" games i ever finish 100%, and whenever a new GTA comes out, i just HAVE to buy it and then complete it.

 

 

 

 

No other game gives you that feeling when your game finally loads then you see tons of "new" cars, new guns and ...YOU choose which one to steal.

Actually, OP, I'm not as addicted as you. I'd hang out with my real-life girlfriend rather than playing GTA and I just can't seem to get over this thing called hunger without eating, and the same for tiredness and sleep.
