Adler
Can a moderator please have this topic renamed "[CLEO 3/4] Weather ID Selector?" Thank you! Weather ID Selector 1.20———————————————————————————————————————— This mod is compatible with the CLEO 3/4 Libraries found here: http://cleo.sannybuilder.com/ I originally created this script for testing purposes/fooling around with some weathers to see what kinds of effects it had but I decided to release it so anyone who's bored can try scrolling through the 65535 different weathers that SA has. I've also included a sky changer which I think changes the sky color to the ones in the heavens of SA and a time changer. CHANGELOG 1.20Now CLEO 3 Compatible! 1.10Added Time Changer Added reset feature to Sky Changer 1.00First Public Release Type "WEATHER" to select weather IDs.Type "SKY" to change the sky color. Type "TIME" to change the current time. >> Mirror at Deji's GTAGangstas site. << Thanks to james227uk for the video! rollout
Sounds nice It's Beta or it's the Final Release?
Adler
I guess it's final... unless you get any ideas for improvement?
james227uk
SA doesn't have many weathers... it only has about five, so err.... 65535 different weathers Wait? Whaaaa Nice, I'll be downloading this myself. Could be useful for machinima makers too. Edited August 5, 2010 by james227uk
Deji
ID's 43-65535 are like a random seed of dramatic weather effects... That make drastic changes in draw distance and sky colour Some of them gave me the highest FPS I have ever seen in San Andreas
james227uk
Weather: 18 Sky: 2 Those are some pretty interesting results. Some of the weirdest weather/sky combinations can now be found easily with this mod edit: lolwut Made this video, perfectly crafted into 720p HD I showed that Weather 18 Sky 2 effect at the end Edited August 6, 2010 by james227uk
Adler
@Deji Haha you really need a better pc! @James lol I don't know how many skies there are so I just capped it at 65535 just like with weather. Thanks for the vid by the way! Also, I just noticed that my mod was removed from GTAGarage because I had links to mirrors?? I'll remove the external links from GTAGarage but I blame the super-long approval wait time for having to putting links up. james227uk
GTAGarage's approval time is a joke. I waited 3 weeks before, before one of my mods was approved
spaceeinstein
SA doesn't have many weathers... it only has about five, so err.... The opcode for SA's weather/sky color can support numbers that high. It doesn't mean you'll get decent weather since there are no weather system set for values that high. This also works for GTA III (w/o sky color) and VC. By the way, SA has 23 set weather, not five. Edited August 6, 2010 by spaceeinstein
james227uk
I take it you didn't read my whole post It was a joke I said that "oh, SA doesn't have many weathers", then Adler says it has 65535, and I'm like "wait? What? It has how many????"
Deji
I'd assume (since it's again, like a random seed) that the sky colour ID max is also 65535... A single byte higher would be a very odd thing
Adler
Version 1.10 released! It lets you reset the interior colors for the Sky Changer and includes a Time Changer now.
PolygonWindow
I have trouble getting this to work. I've installed Cleo 4, but somehow it says it still has Cleo 3 installed. Can anyone help me?
Adler
If I understand correctly then the number at the bottom-left hand corner of the start menu still says version 3? Please describe the steps that you took to install CLEO 4 and we'll try to provide assistance. I may be working on a CLEO 3 version in the near future for Spring Break if I have the time. Done!
