Voodoo
I think it's safe to say that with the banning of Slamman none of us here on GTAF have experienced both, so none of us can give the answer. My guess is they both suck. What a cold thing to say about a man who is celebrating his 44th birthday today. Give the man a break at least for one day. On topic: Neither, I would rather be sent to the Antarctic and freeze to death and have the polar bears eat me after wards. And how is that f*ckstick even relevant anymore? Let it go, ffs. My guess is they both suck. Who is this Slamman guy I hear about a lot. Sorry for asking, I'm new to this site. He's a guy that apparently has become a meme in these forums. A lot of people find it funny to sling his name around, most of which don't even know him. His posts were a bit sporadic but the dude has some things going on in his life that I don't wish to experience. I used to talk with him occasionally (usually during bans) and although his posting may give off the impression of a man who tries to derail every topic with talks of nostalgia (see laserdisk haha) I just think he was confused. Anyway if given the choice of mental institute or jail I'd take jail. I wouldn't want to be in company with the criminally insane. Of course a lot of people in jail are crazy, but they are mostly just normal people who've made bad decisions. Now if I had to go to jail for life, I'll be taking suicide by cops. f*ck that. MobBG
North Korea. No ofence or anything, simply communism beats both of those facilities. I don't doubt that one. I don't think I'd want to be in a Russian prison either! True that! When the communist invaded Bulgaria, my grand grand father was tortured (because he helped a wounded german soldier) by putting wooden sticks into his fingernails, then he was thrown in a prison camp in Siberia where he found his death I take it this was during WW2? Why did he help the German soldier? Because he was wounded and had nowhere to go........ I guess he didn't get much praise from the Russians for doing so...which is understandable in a way, but he was also just trying to do good for his fellow man. That's a sad story.. I dont see in what way it is possible to be understanded. The man, go bless on his soul, saw the German soldier crawling on the road and he took him in and put bandages(I think thats how its called) on his wounded areas and on the next morning the russian army marched and they recognised the nazi uniform. My grandfather was condemned as a traitor of the new comunist government and as a nazi suporter. All of his lands were tooken away and given to the "partisans", his wife was sent to a way smaller house where she raised her 4 children. Sad world war stories indeed. E.A.B.
North Korea. No ofence or anything, simply communism beats both of those facilities. There are no North Korerans on the internet Besides, who would take offense? It's essentially telling a torture victim that torture sucks, oh, but no offense. I know they're trying to help you at mental hospitals, but if they lock you up in dull rooms with nothing very..uplifting, how is that supposed to help the mentally insane? Really. Prisons are supposed to rehabilitate you as well, but federal prisons just f*ck you up even more It's become a system where we simply keep those deemed dangerous to society away from everyone else. We've....given up on them. whatever. The only problem is when the system balloons to such a size that we have to let them out or just keep cramming them in together. Then the question is; are we going to rehabilitate them now? Or just execute them all and free up space? Cause that's perfectly logical, and I mean it. I f*cking mean it. Runey
It's become a system where we simply keep those deemed dangerous to society away from everyone else. We've....given up on them. Well, there are some people that are just flat out scumbags, and no matter how many times they go to prison, they end up right back in there. Those are the ones that we should give up on if you ask me. As far as I'm concerned, prison over a mental hospital any day. People in prison are violent. People in a mental hospital can be violent AND mentally unstable. Bad combination.
Tyler
Runey, people inside prisons can... and usually are also mentally unstable in terms of anger. Just because you aren't at a mental hospital doesn't mean that there aren't people who are mental there with you.
CygnusX1
I'm kind of interested in what you guys think is worse : to be locked up in a mental hospital or be locked up in prison ? To me,both options are bad. In mental hospital you are not held as long as in prison, but the pills and sh*t they give you there will f*ck up your mind and you come out worse than before. In prison, you are locked in a cell for years, but they don't f*ck up your mind with pills there. So, what exactly is it you've done?
