mods don't work

I would just like to know if model replacements for cars and peds work on gta san andreas with patch 1.0 because i downgraded to go on samp but the model replacements i installed for cars and peds don't work online or in singleplayer, if they do work on v1 then can you tell me if i'm doing something wrong

It is quite possible that a certain mod made your game crash, You said you had downgraded right? I have installed many mods from cars and Peds. Some cars mods don't work for some reason. Also did you over write on any of the Peds from the cutscenes in the GTA3.IMG? Cause if you over write someone like Jethro, Truth, Tenpenny, Sweet, Big Smoke, Big Bear, Kent? It will NOT work! i replaced the claude model with a different one and i dont think it's the mods that don't work because i've tried lots of different ones. Im really frustrated because my game is v2.0 which i know can't be modded but i've tried everything to make it moddable like downgrading and creating a new .img file but nothing works yet it works for everyone else
