boxmonster
Weather Eye IVThis is my second timecycle mod, this time it is very much made from scratch (with the help of myster92's Edit IV). The goal of this mod is to emulate weather as realistically as GTA IV allows while showing off the amazing range of how the human eye (not a camera) sees it. So there will not be insane contrast or color correction effects.More PicturesOld beta picturesVersion 1.0 picturesVersion 1.1 picturesDownload http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=13567 Mirror for 2.0 http://www.sendspace.com/file/5vlxtb Cinematic Moodiness timecyc (2.0).http://www.sendspace.com/file/h3pc1u Edited November 19, 2013 by boxmonster

boxmonster
@ City_Poke912: That's kinda the point I'm trying to make with this timecyc, you'll be surprised how bright shadows actually are (just look out the window). I'm very much avoiding the underexposed camera look. @ goin-god: It is just a timecyc.dat with a visualsettings.dat that just cheaply reduces the DOF effect, everything else is stock. boxmonster
Sorry for being so lazy, I have just done a few nitpicky changes so I can start working on the rest of the timecycle. Night lighting. old->new Morning fog. old->new Blue hour lighting. old->new Well, you guys have encouraged me to work on it more @boissevain: I wouldn't recommend using this with ENB, because it cancels out the sky effects. boxmonster
Well, I found out how to get decent looking clouds, I haven't reworked the lighting yet but it should be easy riding from here. And I'm working on foggy weather since it is the easiest to make.
IVSA_Guy
I f*cking cant wait for this weather mod! I use your first weather mod and it makes the game beautiful. There is only one little that should be fixed, maybe Im wrong. When its Cloudy weather, there are sun shining and shadow casting. Wether its a bug or not, that cloudy weather is very nice. And can you tell what is the value to reduce the foggy? Im very sure this weather mod will be the best envoirenment mod ever! Its eye-candy

I won't be updating my old Timecyc Edit anymore. Using myster92's Edit IV: to change the amount of fog, change Atmosphere>Sky Top Color the brighter the blue value (red or green don't do anything for some reason), the foggier it will be. Visual Effects>Fog Start changes how far the fog begins.

boxmonster
This mod is not dead yet. Life is just slowing me down a bit. Windy weather is basically done. I've only given the illusion of clouds at the horizon for midday so far so the second picture doesn't look as good. Ive also only just done 12:00 for cloudy... and rain.
