cmw
In all the GTA games you put away your weapon in your pocket. In GTA5 you should be able to put your weapons away in a gun cabanate if your at home. If your outside you should keep it in the box of your truck or in your car/van. QwertyAAA
If playing GTA has taught me anything, it's that a single car doesn't last long in a GTA game. Anyway, it's reasonably realistic and GTA isn't Hitman - it's not solely about guns.
TC825
^ When he pulled out that shotgun I was like WTF? Lol but I would like to see someone walk around with all those. On topic: I like it how it is because when I'm playing ex. During a shootout Im not worrying about pulling a RPG, sniper, or assault rifle being unrealistic. If you wanna be realistic carry just a knife and a pistol and see if that gets you through the game.
Akavari
I'd like having trunks available to store sh*t, but I don't want to be forced to run back and forth between my car for stuff and lose all my investments because my car explodes. I think we should be able to store extra guns and ammo in vehicles, so you can have say a pump shotty then run to your trunk and swap it with a sawn-off shotty. And if you switch cars, the stuff in your trunk is carried over to the next car you get in.
Drift-Kingz
I've always wanted something like an inventory of. That way we can choose our weapons in a more easier format. Well, for me of course but hey an inventory is a great idea. Although the idea of having to keep weapons in a safe place is a great idea And next time, please use the wishlist topic. Thanks. The Lolwut Pear
You know how backpacks were in the beta IV? You should be able to put them in your backpack or bag and leave it at your safehouse or any where.

The Guru
I like the idea of a cabinet in your safe house. That way, if you die or get busted, you won't lose every single weapon you have. Might explain why some kids walk so funny - all hip and limping over. o.O And that one kid who says he has two different size legs might actually just be the one who has the shotgun. That vid really should show the kid walking, if he "can walk" with all that heat. Practically a guinea for an arms dealer. Claude4Catalina
having a gun cabinet or weapon stash in safe houses, similar to garages, would be useless, to save buying an M4 for when you want an M4, and buying an AK for when you want an AK. perhaps as a con to this pro, make it so you have to buy seperate ammo? so M4 ammo isnt interchangable with AK ammo, so we have something to spend our money on. MrcTOtheJ
In a concept thread I made a awhile ago, I had it so you could stash weapons in your trunk, though they wouldn't carry over like akavari112 said, that's a good idea though. As for having weapons stored at you safe house(s) I'd love the idea go to your house after getting tired of on weapon in a certain slot and then go there and swap them. Though you'd have to get the ability to take weapons out and then if you want to put on in say if you want to swap your 9MM for a Deagle that way you wouldn’t lose your other weapons just in case you wanted it at a later time. As for that matter if you buy a gun you should get the option to have it delivered and stored in your house from the get-go, that way if you want a grenade launcher, but don’t want to lose you RPG at that moment you could buy it with out losing it. CryptReaperDorian
I remember seeing that video QwertyAAA posted in the movie Bowling for Columbine. I think the inventory idea with car trunks and gun cabinets was used in Scarface: The World is Yours, but I forgot how it exactly worked (gun cabinet was there, but forget about car trunks). I wouldn't mind this if you don't lose all your weapons when your vehicle blows up, but different weapons shouldn't use the same ammo if this is done (like said about the AK-47 and M4). It would be cool to switch between the powerful Combat Pistol and the standard Pistol (since it has a larger magazine) via car trunk.
MrcTOtheJ
Yeah they'd have to make it so the guns would have different ammo, or else people would just spam the feature for ammo. Though that vide amazes me that's allot of guns for one person, all well concealed too.
Little William
I like all the ideas here, but do we really a second weapons topic? It can be discussed here.
