Girish
That is probably because of your video card. What settings are you running the game at? Also, why do you have the v1.01 patch installed? Do you really need it?

Do you really need it? i have 1.01 because I had sound problems in version 1.0, but this problem is happening in 1.0 and 1.01. i am running game at default game settings, and i turn off the AA, frame limiter, draw distance, change resolution but it doesn`t work
Girish
Run the game at the lowest possible settings. By that, I mean turn down all settings to their lowest values. You can also select a resolution with 16-bit colour depth for better performance, but then you will have to compromise on graphics quality. Also, make sure your video drivers are updated. And lastly, try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode and see if it makes a difference.

lil weasel
Before going too far, as a lot of time is wasted on trying to fix a no-fix situation: Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the Drive? You are not trying to use a No-CD program or crack.

mustang_glend
I´m not an expert, but i think the problem is the processor, i have a friend that had amd athlon 1.8GHz too, but this problem always occured just when starting a new game so he changed to PS2 -.-, and i have an Intel pentium 4, and the game loads things smoothly, also, i tried with Intel Pentium 3, and the game took unless 20 seconds to load models, so maybe this could be the problem :

Girish
Version 1.01 and playing with DVD in drive.Have you install any Mods, which are affecting the game? i have car mods only(all installed with IMG tool) There's your problem. Those mods are eating into your video memory which is already on the lower side (128 MB is only enough for an unmodded copy of the game) and hence, the game is unable to load other graphics properly. I'm afraid you'll have to do without mods until you upgrade to a better system.
